Ahh those demon eyes.??..BTW the trailer looks promising.
-
Congratz bro. Looks like a nice buy??
-
Nope. You will definitely be pulled over by the traffic police. Rear- yellow with black letters Front- white with black letters
-
@ramishkad Well they should not be doing that without your consent right? Correct me if I am wrong. When We see a car with VTEC number plate it implies that the car has undergone some body repairs at VTEC? From what I understand most of the honda guys go to VTEC for body repairs.
-
Soory to hear about the accident. You should try Vtec motors in talaahena.Couple of my friends who drove hondas recommended the place. From what I hear their work is pretty good.

I bought 3M shampoo from Arpico battaramulla. Sometimes they are available in supermarkets.

My New Ride : Mistubishi Lancer CS1 GLX (A/T) YOM 2007
K.o.N.o.S replied to Sampath Gunasekera's topic in General Automotive
Naa, I don’t think we have that level of professionalism here (to my knowledge).I did one for my previous car and they didn’t bother to measure.Luckily the job went fine.I think this will require some skill which comes with experience. So you do not actually have to measure if you know exactly what you are doing. Btw @Sampath Gunasekera That looks like a job well done..? -
Ohh you can invest in one of these. Does not hurt your wallet at all. https://www.wow.lk/mall/p/ez-jet-water-cannon/alpha183096/

@Hyaenidae thanks for sharing. I think now I have a good impression on them. I actually did my first service at Automiraj in Gampola. I only put the car there because the service manager is a good friend of mine and he personally looked into my Car. So that was a positive experience. I will be doing my next service at UNIMO katugasthota. Of course we will meet there someday. I guess together we can find out @Bracket's whereabouts.?
-
@Hyaenidae yes I am referring to the katugasthota workshop. Care to share your overall experience?
-
UNIMO at orugodawatte, is it that bad? I thought it was one of the best service Centres out there. I am planning to put my car to UNIMO in kandy. Anyone had experience with them?

My New Ride : Mistubishi Lancer CS1 GLX (A/T) YOM 2007
K.o.N.o.S replied to Sampath Gunasekera's topic in General Automotive
The purpose of cut and polish is to remove small scratches and swirl marks embedded on clearcoat and rejuvenate the paint. They do this by removing a small layer from the clearcoat. So if the cut is too deep most of the clearcoat if not the entire clearcoat will be removed exposing the paint. So as @kusumsiri mentioned this depends on the depth of the cut. -

I am interested.Since you mentioned, Could you suggest a good place? -
For me the best automotive related youtube channels are, Chrisfix- IMO Chris is a Legend when it comes to DIY videos. His clear presentation is top notch and to the point.Been following his "Driftstang" project from the beginning and I am totally hooked. Gears & Gasoline- This is relatively a new channel and from a tuner perceptive their videos are excellent. It attracts tuner cars from all over and let them take through an overview of their respective build. Highly entertaining and top notch video editing. More importantly the channel covers all the aspects of the automotive industry. Project builds,Tuning, Walkthroughs, Maintenance, to name a few. Eric the Car guy- If you are extremely into mechanical aspect then this is channel for you. Eric is a guy who will completely tear down the engine and explain every single part in detail.

That is an absolute beauty. You should stop talking, admire and sing now. " Red red wine, you make me feel so fine,You keep me rockin' all of the time" COngratz!!

@Hyaenidae That's a bummer. In my lancer I have YUASA battery. I am not in a position to confirm the exact model as I am pretty far away from the car at the moment. But should be the same model ( 55D23L ). To my knowledge Douglas & sons Ltd is the agent for YUASA batteries in Sri lanka. http://www.yuasa-kw.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=140

Such an inspiring story. Shows how much we love our rides!

one my close friend was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer ( stage 2 or 3, can't really remember). He had to go to Maharagama hospital for six months on weekly basis for his treatments. he got through that and completely cured now. Mind you it's not the pleasant place to spend your time. Yes it's true that they do not have the best equipment but gets the job done.

@Hyaenidae Nice. If your explanation does not convince the OP to buy a lancer then what will?
-
@Davy @trinity @Hyaenidae Any inputs?

I can sense another lancer thread is on it’s way. Eagerly awaiting.❤️

Thanks for the comment CyRaX. I took off the RalliArt sticker but not the WRC. Did them all on my own, so didn't want to put that effort to waste so to speak. @Davy Needless to say do you actually need those ralliart stickers anymore? ? the world has evolved and You now have a monster in your garage..??. Anyway been looking for this thread and could not locate it. Thanks for bumping this up @MkX
