Dear all

I just brought. Fb 15 supper saloon car and the year of manufacturing is 1999.recently I have got problem with the speed transmission. That means car have to put more effort to shift the gear from low speed to high speed gear.then car driven 1st or 2nd gear for a bout 1 minutes then suddenly starting to speed up with gear shifting.. One of micanic said me the problem is auto gear sensor and I have to replace the sensors. Any one can give a solution for this.?

Start by inspecting the condition of the ATF ( Auto gear oil) and if bad, replace with a good quality Dexron III compatible ATF. Make sure to ask the garage to remove and clean the sump and magnets.

Does your issue go away after the engine reaches the operating temperature ? say, after 5 minutes of driving ?
