Hi guys,

Can anybody tell me how much does it worth a Toyota carina CT210 (1998) diesel turbo auto car with English number plates (GF-xxxx). It has 175K in meter and owner claims that he has fully redone the engine. Interior and exterier was in good condition.

Facelift 1.8-2.2 mil

Ups - Amazing build quality. Comfort. Economy

Downs - Fast wearing turbo diesel engines. Shape and age.

Watch for wornout steering wheels, engine rebuilts/replacements, wornout key/key hole, pedals and the crumpling on the driver's seat.

Milindu had given a short & sweet advice, just to add, check whats the enginge capacity 2 ltr or 2.2 ltr, few govt servants at high level got the permits at that time who brought few to 2.2 ltr versions, bit rare but better.

it is 2 Ltr Turbo, i have driven and quite faster than other diesal cars. but owner asking for 2M. will it worth (with considering english number plates and as no diesel cars comes to market except permit cars.)

Probably thats the asking price for a relatively good car, would'nt be surprised even if they ask more, if you can get it below 2 mil you got a deal. Engine is cheaper to rebuild, less maintenance other than that.
