Car Security Alarm Volume Reduction

guys.,

my cars security alarm noise has reduced so much that its almost silent even when my ears are near the bonnet.i hear a very light sound and that's it.

what must be the reason?what should i do?

please enlighten me regarding this topic.

what kinda alarm is it? Check the connections to the speaker as a loose connection is normally an issue. there are chances for your speaker of the alrm to malfunction/be faulty. If you can get another speaker from a friend you could try it or you could try it on a normal speaker with higher ohms and see. If you didn't change the settings there will not be any need to change the settings.

Is there any chance to spill out the water inside the speaker? During the Engine service....

usually this after market products tend fail when water goes in. that alarm unit is not expensive. best is to replace and don't let the high pressure apply to the area where its fixed.

first check the connections.. but from experince i can tell u that if the sound has degraded.. its time for a new horn unit..

its not expensive. u can get it in any car alarm place.

you can also check by connecting it ot the car horn

and after replacing it with a friends extra horn it works fine.
