it was 5500/- for my Corolla. they have done a damn good job. I've done this at Nawinna Klee* par* (They've recently opened a branch at Nawinna near phoenix showroom..) for best results I've covered up my car with a Carnauba wax at home. it gives good results over the paint sealants that they put on. now it's sparkling.

Is it ok to put a car cover with dust? and doesn't it cause more problems using it in Scorching heat?

Peri, do u know a place to buy Meguire Car wax?? i was looking for this and couldn't find anywhere and i herd it was one of the best is it carnuba type or just synthetic? herd Carnuba type wax are the best for Dark colors.

I think bird crap on dark paint is worser than the white ones. finally i tried with regular car shampoo and let it soaked for sometime and rub it off. (God this damn thing like cement!!!) and it works for a certain extent. but still theres a small patch but it's hard to notice it. anyway I'm putting my car to kleen park for a full detail end of the month. hope they'll take care of it.

I just parkd my car under a tree for couple of days and now the birds had bombed the hell out of it!! I've tried WD-40 and what not to get the damn thing out of my car but the stains wont go of the paint.. its Black paint though. any idea how to restore the finish?? Arrrrgh!! those damn birds!!!!

Velocity, Thanks for the detailed info machan. and WOW!! that car is a beauty (pic). i found about protege when i was looking for a car before i get the Corolla. during those days it ws there for sale in Car Sale in Pitakotte area. i have seen this (Protege) car in mag too but it was comparing with a Subaru WRX so i thought theres something special about it. definitely if I'm gonna buy a car again. (not so soon though) thought of going for Manual. kinda lazy to drive a Auto now. Is this Original Bodykit or have you get it done somewhere?

I've done the calculations machan, Set Trip meter to '0' (When u filling ur tank). and note down the Fuel Liters you got. after the trip note down the Odo Again when you fill up ur tank again. Divide the Kms traveled by the amount of Ltrs it took to refill the tank. The result will be your car's average Kmpl.

Don't know about the Allion. but in my Corolla its the Same engine (1.8L) it does 11kmpl on City and 16-17 km pl in Outstations. i guess Allions figures must be closer to that since its got the same engine. dunno anything regarding the tranny though. regarding the driving pleasure.. nothing satisfies like a Subaru Forester

No machan G is superior than X. if you can compare two of these. you can see that X is lacks with fully automatic Air Conditioner & Teak panels etc. and it doesn't even got Tacho. in 121 Range, Corolla Luxel is the fully loaded version. it's got 1.8L Engine (1ZZFE VVTI) same engine goes with US Version of Corolla. Check the Luxel and heres the G Version (It's got the same Aircon controls as Luxel, but check the Gear Shifter) Check the X (Observe the Aircon controls..) regarding your first question, No the latest 141 Imported by dealers got the 3ZZ-FE Dual VVTI 1.6L Engine (Don't know about the JDM Model Corolla Axio) and the Older 121 G version got the 1NZ-FE VVTI 1.5L Engine and the Luxel Version Got the 1ZZ-FE VVTI 1.8L (Same As Allion A18) Engine. and some X Versions got 2NZ-FE 1.3L Model Engines too. i herd these are bit underpowered for a Corolla.

I'll Go for a Allion if it ws 1.8 version. if not New Civic. Kulunu, I guess that new corolla got the new 3ZZ-FE Engine (1.6l VVTLI) and Allion got 1NZ-FE (A15 - 1.5L VVT) or 1ZZ-FE (A18 - 1.8L VVT). hope the corolla does better. but I'm not sure.

True, most of the time i instruct the seller to put the item in a normal letter rather than in a bulk package. last time i herd one of friend got a Bluetooth device from a friend (Free Gift) bugger has forgot to remove the huge package. finally he has to pay some 3000/- for his free gift.

I've registered on eBay in 2006 and got some stuff delivered. there are so many fakes around on eBay as well, once i got fake bluetooth headset saying it's original. I've got some LED alternatives for Dashboard bulbs too. since its got some life in it (LEDs) thought of replacing normal bulbs with White LEDs. (Now it looks superb on my Corolla 122) for normal stuff like Memory cards and etc.. it arrives in normal Letters (Inside a bubble pack) they ddnt got charged for any duty (So far).

No machan, this is something else. this is unique number given by Vehicle manufacturer to identify a vehicle. so they can use this details to gather Manufacturing plant, Country, Model etc..

I think you better take a look at your Engines Sensors (Mass air flow air sensor, Oxygen Sensors.. etc u dnt need to replace them, just a cleaning would do) and what about Plugs? are they Copper ones or Iridiums.. you better take 'em out and take a look.. and last, doing a fuel system clean will do the job..
