Miniace, Anything regarding MIG29s? cpl of month ago defense authorities were interested in Acquiring them. are those still in cards? i think its a good move if it happens. what do you think?

No machan you guys dont get it. im not trying to prove that old is bad and our guys using crappy technolgy or anything like that. what im saying is its great achievement that we are still using these 3rd gen fighters to counter the threat we got. whether they are being overhauled or not and whatever avionics packages they used in here. its great if they were upgraded using latest Avionics and bombs. i think u misunderstood me. about the C10 upgrades, i ddint said that we got C10 variant. its just a question. asking is it possible to upgrade it to that variant? can u say anything regarding that? i think it's reliable tha finding AF guy?

You got it (Listening to a 80's Song in year 2000 doesn't make that song 2000 Released track right?? its still called as 80's track) still those were 3rd gen fighters isn't it miniace ?? but I'm not against it. i like the cheaper but effective way. and i love that birdy very much (Kfir) wonder if we can get the C10 variant. then we can chase down those tin cans. perhaps we can upgrade our C2s for C10s for better price. but i doubt it. cos its got the J79 US designed Engine. so when it comes to US, simple, US=Pricey+Conditons. and one thing mate, i think the Russians get rid of their single engined planes some time ago, if I'm not mistaken, they are using Multi role variants of Mig29. Mig29SM or SMT instead of floggers for the Ground attack role. and Indians Upgraded their Floggers cpl of years back and put up some fancy stuff like MFD's, Radars etc. and they are the only Nation who can build MIG27 from scratch (By HAL) outside Russia. Variant called "Bahadur" Bit shorter than our Version of 27M's. they are going to be slowly phased out, when the "Famous" MRCA deal finalized. I'm assuming it (BM's) wont look like crappy marutis here after . Common guys these are all Assembly plants. if not for this stupid war, we might also in this situ for sure. just look at locally assembled Rexton SUVs, i cant see any difference between the Korean one and Locally assembled one. our guys can do that as well. at least better than this Chappathi buggers.

I'm talking about the birds pal. not the Bombs. All the aircrafts we are using now is 3rd gen Fighters of 70s 80s. we just got them in year 2000.

In Last sortie they've used two types of birds. Kfirs and Mig27M's. Normally for low flying sorties they use MIGs. this time Kfir used "Dive bomb" (To Get An idea of "Dive Bombing" Watch Movie stealth. buggers used to bomb a place in Myanmar or somewhere in South East asia using that method. ps: Don't bye those fake Aircrafts though ) method to bomb the place. cos Delta Winged aircrafts isn't effective in low flying sorties. they've used 500lb Bunker busters plus 2,000 lb MK84 Hammer type Dumb bombs to bomb the hell out of Tigers. Amazing thing is Our boys using 70's technology to Beat the Crap out of Kotia.

For me.. i'm huge fan of 80's music. but sadly you cant listen to those music while you're driving colombo.. (Amidst Leyland buses ) so while im driving around colombo i used to listen heavy metal stuff.. when driving outstation 80's, Alternative Rock etc would do..

No mate. don't sell off and go for a Nissan FB15. it's not worth it. believe me. i used to have one of those FB 15 (Well maintained, With HA plates) As an Office car. you can't even compare that car with a good old AE100. driving conditions is horrible. if you don't believe me, better take a test drive the damn thing before you buy it. you'll notice the difference. you can hear lot of suspension noises, Road noise.. plus the ride is not that smooth like your AT212. you better invest in something else (Car).. or keep your car for sometime. Don't worry about the Numbers too much. i don't think it'll depreciate that much, cos it's a Toyota. You know that Used Volvo S40 is cheaper than a Used Corolla 121 these days.

Big daddy machan, just make sure your plug holders free of water and tight. if theres any water left just clean 'em off with cotton bud or.. use some cloth. i don't think your plugs went bad.. i have done this with my bros car.. he accidentally washes off the the engine.. and it started to cough as well.. simply cleaned those plug caps.. and its Done!!

Most of the new engines have Spark plugs in Tapered seat (Plug in a Deep Grove, and this groove is really sealed off with a rubber cap) and no plug wires no Distributor as well. (The ignition coil On top of the plug) example like in Corolla 121s. so as long as Plug is being covered and there's no Distributor i think its safer to wash those engines. (I'm doing High pressure On my rollas engine.. seems ok no probs at all). but if you wanna wash your engine (Engine with a Distributor and Plug wires) Cover the Distributor cap and other parts (Electric parts such as Fuse boxes and Relays) with polythene. then you'll be safe.. For wet plugs just remove the wire from the plug and clean the inside of it (Plug caps) using a cotton bud and reinstall them (Make sure you do one at a time, in case you don't want your engine to misfire by plugging a wrong wire into wrong plug) . that'll do. you're done.

Maaan.. thats way too pricey.. you can get good Corolla 121 (Thailand Made) Unreg recon for that price.. who wants to get a Hatch for that price?? Damn!!

Hey.. srry for the late reply machan.. i ask him out about the Fuel consumption.. he said it ws between 8-9 in city and outstation it's around 12.. so better check this out and i dont think this vehicle got ample parts. (I mean Recon Body parts and so on...)..
