    Don't be fool'd by the badges As the car would have had approx 40 years to get re-badged many times. the GL also has independant rear suspension. You must get a decent runner first. Upgrade the odds and ends after.

    Don't wash the car and just park it,.specially with a car cover, instead, go for a short drive to dry out everything. TT.

    Good job with the front conversion. Unfortunately, your jeep was not factory fitted with discs,so getting a set for it's gonna need some looking up. If you're not hype abt all-wheel drive, why not upgrade to a new rear axle from a v46? it came with factory discs.

    It's time you get new rubber on those rims. Your tyre wear is due to acceleration, I guess you don't drive gently.

    Thanks, Even if you get a similar car driven with petrol, you are getting a used car with a high milage. Tuning for your car is important as LPG has slightly differant parameters to efficient burning when compared with petrol. Get your car inspected by a LPG specialist specialy the under carrage where the gas line is routed from the boot to the engine bay. And the tuning for LPG. And domestic cilinder conversions are a nono! I've seen LPG converted engines maintain a slightly higer operating temp. So getting the cooling system checked/serviced is recommended.

    Agree with Rumesh,. Out of a long history of abuse and niglect, the last symptom happens to be delt with the re-wiring of the cooling fans,.. May be some hidden hiccups under the bonnet Blown head gasket? Wrong timing,clogged cooling system, the list of possibilities go on../ TT.

    First, your a/c recirc function isn't working, that's why you're getting the burning smell inside the car. check your tc gasket for leaking,.. Don't spray any penetrating oils on /near the engine when servicing the car.

    Sorry for being blunt br, everything from the Starship Enterprise downwards has an engine/s. your car was built in an age where the word 'Tune up; had gone obsolete. I guess you're wanting to cure high fuel consumption. you ned to do a complete system check for things like the 02 sensor, which your avg garage can't do. Start with air filter, new plugs and see what it will do. Leaving the Dylithium crystals for last. In case of your car being auto, change the ATF.

    Hope you have good insurance,..Depending on who is going to handle the cost, you can try delKn or the agent. The bumper is in a repairable condition.rear light need replacement for best results.
