In my POV, 17" alloys with low profile tires are not suitable for SL roads. These roads have more ditches, potholes and whatnot than they nave bends. Sticking to at least 14" or 15" inches with 60+ tires (depending on your wheel well size) is more practical.

Where are the fruits of peace...? too bad the lawmakers do not provide any explanation as to why the damn laws being put...

Dilesh is right. U R not clear anjulau78, what do you exactly mean by 'the car runs 40 Km/h (with 3rd or 4th gear)' ??? Is it like you start-off, up-shift to top gear and let go of the accelerator pedal? The engine rev level might be set too high if you shift to first gear from a standstill on a flat road (not a slope or a climb) and if the car moves without accelerating. Typically engine should knock and stop the moment you let go of the clutch.

I've heard that they are not that economical (5~6 kmpl?), not sure about the truth in those claims though

I use Mobile Delvac MX, costs me 500 bucks extra per can as opposed to Mobil Delvac, but the engine sound is totally different and engine runs much smoother with MX.

Yes it looks awesome, and is a great ride. Just check the aftersale value, as SL car market's value is driven by demand and the amount of fuel consumpsion.

I don't trust any Insurence Company... Have very bitter experiece with Jana$ak*hi and Celin*o V!P. I don't do full insurence anymore, but save that amount yearly in an FD and be extra careful when driving. Got a third party insurence just to meet the legal requirement. All depends on the assessors... worthless scum

My car had the same problem (the steering is a bit stiff and it dosent' get stuck though) and I consulted the agents on it. Their response was that it is inherent to the car and trying to fiddle with it will not yield anything. So I gave up on that effort. Is it a defect inherent to these cars?

Super: Dual Airbags, Teak panels, Steering wheel with silver nissan badge, Rear headrests, Silver line on the top side of the rubber beading on the bumpers with their colour matched to body colour. Ex: Single Airbag, No teak panels, Regular Steering wheel, No rear headrests, black or body colour matched bumper beadings. RPM meter is standard for N16 Super and Ex saloons. Extras: Bumper lights, reverse sensors, leather interior <- you get these on both models

N16 is too heavy for a 1.3 engine. IMO 1.6 engine should be the best. Have a 1.5 one and it performes well. Once got the opportunity to drive a 1.3 and it was a real pain to overtake anythng. I think it burns too much fuel due to the same reason. If you thinking of one go for a 1.5 or better 1.6 one.

I used to own the older model and love this car. It used to have a carb engine. Think the model you refer has EFI engine. So, I'll refrain from commenting on that aspect. The car has relatively low ground clearance which is a con. But the same low height profile of the car makes it very stable. Very comfy. CTII is full option by default. Also note that Nissan has discontinued Presea line-up, so there won't be any newer models in the future. I have seen there are plenty of body parts and doors around wijerama area. I think it has the 1500 CC engine you get in Sunny B14. You need to take special care of the door beadings as the doors are frameless and any damage to them would result leaks

There are two Brown ones with these now plates and they are second gen Pajeros with Disel engines 2.8 and 2.5. One is near Delkanda Junc. and the other was on the Wijerama Road. Havent seen the second one lately though...
