  1. Thats because he was disappointed with his own performance. I mean he did a lose a place to Vettel as a result of that Caterham stalling by the side of the track, and he futzed up his launch in the beginning as well. Starting from pole and having all that happen to me, I'd be pretty upset too.
  2. I saw one of these just this morning in Madiwela, in front of the SLCPA.
  3. Damn I guessed it way before your last post, I just didn't refresh before replying.
  4. Porsche Cayman, of the 2012 variety?
  5. Is that a fog light?
  6. I concur. The engine is behaving normally. As for the speed increasing when you press the clutch, your clutch balancing obviously needs to be improved. You need to depress the clutch smoothly while letting go of the accelerator, otherwise the engine will increase rpms when the load is removed with the accelerator still in the same position. Your last issue will disappear when your clutch balancing prowess is improved.
  7. One will be hard pressed to find any of those cars for 1.7, unless they're 1300cc base models.
  8. Indeed, the steering rod boot cannot make such a noise. Jack the front of the car and rotate the wheel by hand and see if you can recreate the noise. Then, take the wheel off and inspect the entire rotating assembly, in particular check the disc splash guard and if anything is hitting it. Beyond that I'd suggest you take your regular mechanic for a drive and pinpoint the noise to him.
  9. Are you sure its the steering boot and NOT the CV joint boot which is torn? 'cos if it's the latter, then you've probably got some damage on the CV joint, which might explain the clacking sound. Also is the frequency once per wheel revolution or more?
  10. Perhaps you shouldn't ask them if they have 'auto focus' head lamps, because there's is no such thing. Just take the broken unit with you when you go shopping.
  11. Do you know how much the original grille costs? Buy a used "sports shell" instead of cutting up your car's original equipment.
  12. Well this time both RBRs had a hell of a time catching up to the McLarens. Both (McLarens) were so much quicker and agile than they ever were last year. In fact, I do believe McLaren might just have returned to where they were in 2010. Kimi was back to his bitchy self already, srsly he should be called the Ice Queen. Pity about Schumi and Nico, I was really hoping to see them both finishing in the top 10. I'm keeping an eye on them this time around.
  13. The Classic Mini was built into 2000, and some were sold in 2001 as well. So I'm sure those models fall into the 10 year category of the gift for immediate family class of permits. KF means 2006/ early 2007 registrations, ignoring those who jump queue.
  14. Faith in ebay and the SL postal system restored. My package arrived 2 months and 2 weeks late. Huzzah!

    1. Nirosha

Two bottles of perfumes. I've ordered before without any issues, this is only the second time anything of the sort has happened. Last time it was a set of tires for my E-Revo. The box arrived a full 3 months after I had placed the order, submitted lost packaged claim and received a replacement as well.

  15. It's more like the drivers couldn't control the fezzas very well. It was clear that Massa and Alonso were struggling to make them go the way they wanted them to.
  16. Brilliant performance by Hami and Button, and both Mercedes start from the top 10. Sucks to be Alonso though, I thought he was going to deck the steward with the steering wheel. It looks like RBR have lost some of their confidence, if Q3 is anything to go by.
  17. I've noticed some RHD scouts here in SL over the years, were they converted here in SL or factory original?
  18. And just to correct you, there's no body kit on that truck because thats an F350 "Dually" which comes with a dual wheel axle.
  19. What about scouts and other vehicles by international harvester?
  20. Someone else in the cop shed took his mobike, so he has to settle for some poor PC's Singer?
  21. Towards the latter part he actually owned a white diesel converted FJ55 "Moose".
  22. I pass that place on a daily basis, it's got every kind of car imaginable, even two hearses, a Crown and recently a Stagea. Edit: And on the topic of the radiator overflow at high speeds, it could be because the waterpump is working faster than usual thus revealing the bottleneck with the increased circulation pressure.
  23. Well mine is a 2005 model, maybe the feature was enabled from that year onwards. Both front and rear fogs light up with the same button, I can post pics if needed. I just checked with another Vios in my office, a 2003 S spec, the owner said the inner lights don't light up either. There's a 2004 E spec as well but it has no fog lights and the inner lights never light up in that.
  24. In my Vios, the inner lights act as rear fog lights. However I have seen some have both lights hooked up as brake lights. I imagine those cars are without the fog light option, which leads me to believe that the connectors to both bulb holders must be of the same design. If so, all you will have to do is get an electrician to make a parallel harness to hook up the tail light output to both lights. Not sure if the inner light bulb holder is capable of dual filament operation though, so you may only get brake lights. There are only two relays I'm aware of for the light circuits, and thats for the headlamps.
  25. Jersey shore has chicks though.
