  1. inspired by Nissan Presea????
  2. The sad part of the story is some of them (like the Sera for example) are relatively rare and decent cars, before these rapists got their hands on them. and this is purely ingenious!
  3. Ok let me have a mind so open enough to understand that somebody out there actually likes to have this colour scheme on their car... Even then, why would anyone want to be a running advertisement for Macv*d? It's like someone buying a set of Arpico carpets and getting Arpico stickers pasted all over their car...
  4. Would Tesla Model S fare any better than this?
  5. Ah! Cali's Mother In Law is here!
  6. No particular order. Just in the order which came to my mind. However, I didn't want to mention obvious choices like Corollas, Sunnys and Lancers due to the simple fact that you will most probably find ones which have been on the road for much longer and finding a well maintained specimen is easier said than done.
  7. Maybe Harshan
  8. Flashback
  9. My first suggestion would be to ignore the so-called 'resale value' if you are going for a car in that budget. If you are concerned about resale value, you will end up getting a 30-year old piece of scrap metal. Search the classifieds for the following. They generally go around 1 million or less (and meet all your requirements): Suzuki Cultus Suzuki Baleno (if you are really really lucky) Daihatsu Mira Perodua Kancil Suzuki Alto (circa 1998) Peugeot 306
  10. is he a forum moderator?
  11. and may I ask what is your analysis is? or do you mean to say "Your perception is wrong. Talk ANALLY"?
  12. DO the lights on the dashboard come on when you rotate the key? If not I suspect oxidized battery terminals which give poor contact
  13. Janatha Motors guy imports Perodua spares. Thushara 0713190234.
  14. Euro Motors imported only Duologic ones (both petrol and diesel). But there are a handful of UK-sourced (recon) conventional manual Grande Puntos around. Finding one for sale would be as easy as finding a needle on a haystack. @GTAm - When u mentioned about fixing duologic gearboxes, I presume you are talking about ITMC guys?
  15. Yes Good news for Euro car lovers innit?
  16. Not one but TWO Rolls Royces for sale in HitAd! Now what's the probability of that happenning in Sri Lanka?

  17. The important thing to note is these cars have already depreciated by a significant amount. So its highly unlikely that u will end up losing a lot when you sell it. For example, Puntos were sold as Brand New at 3.5million+ mark during 2007, but now they are going at around 2.3million range. You can get a 2007 one for about 2.2 - 2.3. But you need to be patient whenever you sell a Euro. Also the key is to find one in very good condition. I owned a Punto sometime back, which I sold because my better half couldnt get used to the dualogic gear system. I actually sold it for slightly higher than what I spent for it.
  18. it's the MPV version of corolla 110/121. has the same engine and some body panels. for 1.65mn, I am assuming you are considering a 110 spacio, which seems to be overpriced. spacios are rare so don't expect the so called corolla 'market' value for it.
  19. So called 'seniors' and 'juniors' both get covered with sh*t on bucket day.
  20. The author of this video is ill-informed just like you (birds of a feather, I guess). It's not a video of ragging but a video of what they call the 'bucket day' in university. BTW, the authenticity of that video has been challenged. For one thing, no one would actually dare to take a video of ragging in a uni.
  21. Swift/Cruze is good. You can also get a Viva Elite with agents warranty for that budget. If you are not the 'mainstream' type, I always recommend Fiat Punto or a facelifted Peugeot 307. Punto will be the best on fuel efficiency (around 14-15 to the litre), Swift should do around 12.
