I told her don't make any bookings I'll come on saturday or sunday. When I go on Sunday cashier didn't know any thing about free wash. So I paid the whole amount for the service and came home. Unhappy customer. BTW , you have 4 or 5 places to wash cars in your Kandy branch. But there are only two compressors working at any time. And only two cars can wash simultaniously. Isn't that sucks??

I think you can go for mazda 323, fb 14, ek3 exi, toyota starlet, and most of the will give average fuel economy around 9 - 12 Kmpl depending on your driving style and daily traffic you have. And most most of them will have good resale value after 3 years. However if you go for any indian or korean brand I doubt, you will not have much resale value after another 3 years, specially considering these cars already 15 - 20 years old by that time.

Are you sure you can get 150Kb/s average speed atleast 15mins without a drop? I haven't tried after 6pm till mid night. But 8am - 5pm browsing through Airtel is a real pain. I'm near YMCA building during day time and network set to UMTS only, full signal all the time, but line drops every 5 - 10 mins.

Mobitel has the best coverage in most of the areas in Kandy. Not sure about dialog, but Airtel sucks big time in Kandy .. not sure about other areas. No coverage even in Katugastota. I've tried in middle of the town with full signal, still line drops in every 5mins.

What are the major differences in E36 318i model, with earlier YOMs and late 90s YOM. Only this specific model, not the entire 3 series of E36. like, Air bags, etc?

Out of your choices I think ek3 and ck2 are better choices. Or Mazda 323. However if you are going for European brands then beamers and ford is also there, not much aware of models. Also Nissan p11

No offense allion owners, but looking at couple of strange allion threads and comments on those threads, I have a strange feeling that few retards who bought allions few years back before tax reduction try to boost the resale values of their cars. Because I'm sure allions over priced couple of years back. And now face major depreciation issue in their resale value afterr tax reduction. Nay be about couple of millions for 4,5 years of use. This may not be the case with some niche models/brands since buyers never worried about resale value after 5 years.

I hope you have the copy of approved estimate for the repair. If so you can write to Consumer service authority a letter with the copy of you estimate and letter which they refused. They just can't refuse a claim which they approved without any reason.

AFAIK if the car properly tuned you don't get a petrol smell from the exhaust. What you get is burnt fuel smell or in sinhala "Kara Ganda". However I suggest you to refrain smelling the exhault gas for prolong period or make it a habit, as it could end up with having asthma or similar affect.

Well travelling 60Km daily is not very unrealistic number. For example I know 2 guys who travel Matale - Kandy which is around 30Km in one trip and comes to 60Km in both ways. And what about daily travelers who come to colombo from Kaluthara or Panadura I am sure they are doing smoe thing minimum 60Km - 80Km daily basis.

I would not go for this even if I had money, not even LR Limo. But the point is our taste is not the only taste in this world. We should try to live with it. About the EK3 model, if you search this forum little bit, all these models have been dicussed several times. However best buy is ViRS or Vi (both VTEC), since it will give you better performance when needed and better fuel economy compare to Exi model. By the way if you can afford there was an SiR too.

Since the issue came after distributor seal change I suggest you check it again with agents or someone femilier with this model. And some places might have spare units for you to test and see.

I've seen E36 318i goes from as low as 1.25M to 2.2M range. Apart from YOM difference what are the main differences in E36 318i models interms of features, etc.

Just pump the regular air by your self of give 20 bucks for guy, if volunteered to do it for you. And ensure to check air pressure regularly, even if you feels pressure is sufficient by looking at the tyre.
