In simple terms you want to keep low beam lights when you put into high beam.Isn't it?. Your local auto elecyrician can sort that out and only needs a relay and few feet of wire.

Its Advanti Racing ultra light monoblock alloys (refurbished) , , bought from Amila tyre , Dehiwala. They said its a Japanese one but not sure about it. It was originally silver and repainted with gun metal grey. They are 15 inch in size & running with Maxxis maz1 victra 195/50/15.

Like Rumesh said if someone has ruined the carb, it will drive like a tractor. Usually these D15B3 single carb motor gives 105BHP with 120 odd Nm of torque which is more than enough for daily running. Only issue is its a bit complicated carb with lot of vaccum lines and most makabases tends to block or bypass them. Its basically economy oriented setup . But you get a power valve which opens up an extra fuel passage in a sudden acceleration and it needs proper vaccum connection to work. So my advice is to check the condition of the existing carb and correct the simple ones like vaccum lines first. Im having similar setup in my car and most of the work including tuning done by myself at home thanks to the service manual and the great advices by Rumesh. So as Komi said rebuild the existing one properly and decide.

Yep !. Did all the interior and electrical work by myself during the painting process about month back and enjoyed every second of it! .

Its about 10%.FedEx had cleared it and delivered to doorstep within 6days from US. Had to pay 3000 to them when they deliver it. Avx77 was 2009 unit and read few negative comments about its touch interface. On the Other hand kenwood unit has great audio related settings.

If you are interested in single din, check out kenwood kiv 901bt. Got one via ebay and cost about 30k with tax.

You can restore them , but we don't have stuff like plastidip and necessary primers. I too in similar situation with my eg8 which has peeled of areas in side molding exposing the chrome surface. Theres a good DIY writeup under DIY section of civic-eg.com. As im painting the car these days , planing to use few coats of plastic primer and paint with conventional black paint.Will update with results.

Some JDM eg8s and EG6 having those center console dashboards and you can swap that particular part removing your existing dashboards lower part(ash tray and power outlet socket area). Only issue is they are not available locally and @ebay they costs>250$. Ive too put a new dash about 2years back and cost around 16k those days. Ive seen people have swaped teg and s2000 dashboards (@civic-eg.com) and personaly i love the way eg dash look. Because of poor visibility of gauges at night ,Ive done few modifications by myself including light adjustable glow gauge face with lexan glow needles and led kit to light up them. If you need more info ,let me know.

Same guy has advised one of my friends to replace dual carb setup of an Eg8 saying carb is beyond repair. But my local mechanic had fixed it and used more than 2years as his daily runner . So as others said take a second opinion and post the results here.

There's a Honda spare part place next to Wijerama Peoples bank ( Marichi auto or something similar). They had Eg single carb clusters for around 6-7k about 1y back. Also check with us autoparts & us car smile Dehiwala.

Its a brand called Anlu or something similar. Got that from the place you have mentioned.

I got one from abans for about 6k almost 1y back. Its a Chinese one and still working well .
