this is simply becoz still people do not have a decent unregistered vehicle at the price braket of 1.5 to 2.5 million. and fairly a large percentage of the car buying crowd has a budget in this range. thats why people are selling fb 15s at 1.8 million and 110 over 2 million which has never been the case in history. mind you , most of these cars have done nearly 200k milage and in crappy condition.

familia/323 spares are freely availble including body parts. a car with good value for money.

this price bracket has been discussed mate..but will summarize you the key areas. ae110- corolla/sprinter - a well maintained one with YOM ABOVE 1999 will cost you well over 1.9 million these days. you are lucky if you find anything below that...Toyotas are reliable work horses..good on fuel. not much fun to drive..spares could be found in any corner of the island.and more importantly, can sell within few hours. FB15/N16 -you can go for a slightly newer sunny for this price(year 2000) than a corolla..but not good on fuel , no fun to drive. but again spares are freely available and easy to sell... honda EK-3 vi/virs-you can find a well maintained ek for this price range..got more aerodyanmic looks..fun to drive..very relaible...but spares are not common like sunnys and corollas..good on fuel.but slightly old model..can sell easily these days.. mazda familia /323- you can go for a 2001 or 2002 famila or a 323 for this price, probably the neweset out of all.. reliable, got decent looks, not good on fuel like a corolla or civic. you also have the option of choosing the bj5w hatchback too..another lovely car..reselling may take a little long.. suzuki swift- cannot compare the look with the looks of above cars.. , not a comfortable ride..not good on fuel but you can buy a 2004 or above model for your budget. now the choice is yours..

the main cause of this "jump" in reverse in mornings is the reverse clutch. it takes a while to get the optimum oil pressure and temperature to the reverse clutch in the cold start.

i know the car you are talking of. its got a vtec engine with an exi ECU. mate, manual 3 stage vtec ECU hard to come by these days...i would say its very very rare..simply due to the age of the car and due to the high demand for engine swaps. just give a try in negambo area and delkanda. or else try Ebay.

wrong! even non vtec came with CVT. 95 to 98 ML grades and 99-00 LEV all are CVT.

RPM drop and vibration at at D position may have not anything to do with the oil change. better get the idle control valve cleaned.its a simple job. vibration at the First Pick up is something you should attend. where dis you change the oil? hope you used the correct cvt fluid.

i dont underastand why you waited for 25k to change the oil. what do you mean by vibration at D position? can you explain it further?
