suprised to see bg series had ECU. i thought they were carb models.

Even the BF (model prior to BG)had non carburater , Fuel injection in some variarions. Not imported to Sri Lanka.

Only BG Interplay model has ECU/Fuel Injection.

Do a visit to Papiliyana Junction - Mazna Motors should have it

Thanx everyone. I called Mazna motors, and they said that the ECU is not available and it is hard to find now. They said that there is a person who repair ECUs (Piliyandala or Maharagama). I'll check with other places, and btw if you know any information of that person, pls let me know.

  • 4 weeks later...

1992, 1320 CC (model E-BG3P)

Finally I found an ECU at US motors (Dehiwala) @ SLR 6,000.

I had 3 major problems, and 2 problems were resolved with ECU replacing. Now the performance is OK, but there is no change in fuel consumption at all. I've heard that BG3P does around 10 in city, and 13 in outstation. But mine is only abt 9 in city/outstation.

I did followings,

-petrol filter changing.

-throttle body cleaning/repair kit

-Spark plug cleaning/re-gauge

-wiring/engine checking and engine tune-up

I'm a daily runner, and expect expert comments on this.
