  1. Microsoft Security Essentials should also be considered, its free if u have a genuine copy of Windows I have used it for over 6 months now no issues whatsoever, its not as resource hungry as other major virus guards but if u are a heavy user downloading a lot of torrents etc Security Essentials is not for you
  2. visually a huge improvement from the earlier version, the functionality aspect seems to be as easy as earlier, so a job well done my thanks to everyone who works on this in the last few days
  3. What’s so offensive about the Panamera anyway, I guess the purist wont like the Cayenne, but anyone with deep pockets will surely go for either of these Porsches

    Hyundai Tucson

the 2010 Hyundai Tucson is a great 5 seater SUV, if the same vehicle had a toyota badge it will be going for several million more im hoping to buy one also by the end of this year mainly due to advice of a relative in the US, he of course bought it for 22,000 USD we wont be that lucky a version with 4WD and triptronic will be more than 5mill most of the fuel consumption issues have been resolved with the new engines that come in the tucson other than that i dont really expect any major issues think resale value also will pickup in the coming years, Hyundai are now the fourth largest automaker by volume since they are doing so well in north america, i dont see why that success cannot be replicated here as well
  6. diana would have survived if she has wearing a seat belt i was in the insurance industry earlier, i can say with certainty that a majority of fatal accidents do not involve a Maruti, Bajaj on the other hand is a different story if u are considering the bikes u might have a point there
  7. a lot of misinformation in this topic, the reason for the price increases is that Maruti India increased the prices, but the agents are making the most of it, due to demand i guess http://in.reuters.com/article/idINIndia-50572920100802 and Turboman can u back up the claim with some evidence that most fatal accidents here are due to three wheelers and marutis, i find this very hard to believe
  8. not sure abt this particular vehicle model but i have driven the Micro Geely, and i thought it was quite good only buy it if u are not obsessed with resale value nothing wrong with the car, but its just how r 2nd hand market is
  9. carbuddy is correct, it is Maruti India that has increased the prices, i know many who r hoping to buy an 800, it is the vehicle of choice for the budget buyer but will they buy it now since its over 1mill, ppl who r on the waiting list might be getting a little nervous, fearful of more price increases
  10. Surely Micro will look into this, hopefully the Volvo acquisition will improve the quality of future Geely vehicles, they are on the right track the new Micro Geely is great value for money, most probably Geely taking over Volvo will be similar to what happened when ibm sold the thinkpad brand
  11. be patient, dont get hurried into purchasing, the price your quoting is not a bargain, its basically the par price most dealers are quoting, you can get 1300cc and 1500cc variants of this same car, the 1500cc japanese swift in particular has some extra features when compared to the other models, lots of ppl in this country bought the 1500cc swift brand new in 2006 and 2007, you may be able to get one of these cars for a similar or even lower cost that than quoted above
  12. i wonder what other vehicles would be in the cards since the GTR was sold so quickly
  13. not sure abt the sonata, but did see the vehicle at the agents showroom, great looking vehicle, major improvement from the earlier version
  14. the base models in the 2010 sonata elantra tucson sold by the agents are pretty much stripped down versions of the vehicles, for example the base model of the 2010 tucson is 4.8 but when you add most of the options the cost goes up to 6.0
  15. we have been using a chana van for nearly 3 years at our office, no issues so far, statements like above are not surprising though, we have all heard the same thing decades earlier about Japanese vehicles
  16. like many chain emails this has some truth to it, but it is overblown significantly more details can be found here http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/automobil...zene_in_car.htm as the article suggests just ventilate a little more to be on the safe side
  17. Can you tell me in which paper you saw this Hyundai add, if this is correct it is certainly good news, the 2010 model of the Elantra and the Tucson looks like good buys at that price
  18. r u sure about these Hyundai prices, i called the agents sometime back and was quoted 4.0 for a Hyundai Elantra and 6.0 for a Hyundai Tucson brand new with vat
  19. the local agents r Wheels Lanka, google it to find the contact details
  20. i think the cost will be more in the range of 7 million or maybe even more than that
  21. some revised prices for brand new vehicles 3.55 mill for the suzuki swift 1500cc model 4.65 mill for the suzuki sx4 1600cc model
  22. to my knowledge the new Mazda 3 would also be manufactured in Japan for the export market exclusively
  23. no 2010 Mazda 3s in the showroom yet and the 2010 model sold is a 1.6L, the Axela i think is only available in 1.5L or 2.0L variants
  24. even at nearly 6 mill this car will still find buyers, a relative is seriously looking at buying one talked to kia agents today, the sportage is releasing a new model later this year 4wd model will cost arnd 4.7 mill
  25. the same spec civic is 6.1 mill, most ppl i guess would go for the brand new civic rather than the mazda 3, but the exterior styling is great in the mazda, maybe the mazda will draw a younger buyer, but how many young ppl can afford the 5.9 mill price tag
