Heard the same story too machan about the 'time fine'. Just imagine if its some cop really bad in math
  6. The advert says that they are brand new AND approved by the TRCSL. Anyone know if there is a policy that TRCSL approval will only be given for brand new phones?
  7. True they weren't the most durable, still just want to see if I can get one for the heck of it. Like those radio's with the flip clock in them
  8. The problem is that most people buy cars because of what others think. It's like when Vans had two sliding doors the van posse was against it for absurd reasons or when the transmission was a auto they created this hype that it would only travel 100mtrs on a litre of fuel. Whatever car you try to buy, there will always be some village idiot who would try to tell you otherwise. If the car is in good nick, you like it, & can afford to maintain it then go for it.
  9. Speaking of old phones, looking at getting one of em old Motorola flips (that work). Any ideas?
  10. Not too familiar with them but for that price I am thinking, KTM's, DT125, XL125. They will be really old though.

  12. Yep RZ is Yamaha, they came with & without the YPVS. Obviously the one with it is the way to go. If you want something like a CD125/GS125 you should be able to come across one.
  13. Something like a old TZR/RZ perhaps? You'd be quite lucky if you can fine one in good nick for that price though. Haven't really seen many RZ's on the streets though.
  14. Machan for 50K its quite unlikely you would get something decent IMHO. You may need to dish out a bit more, but maybe one of those little scooters. They do the job & are good on fuel.. But they are Indian I myself am looking for a vespa that I could do up. But the ones that I have seen so far, looked like they had been hit with mortar shells. @Watchman albeit late in the day, machan aren't the inverted forks the 'Upside down' folks? i.e like the ones on the WR, etc etc.

  16. Machan, a friend of mine had the problem at the time he took it to the agents & I believe it needed a service. After that it worked fine, but he did sell the car a few months later. Kinda sucks when you can't get into the car and the locks start making weird sounds.
  17. I guess we'd need to wait till the next poya comes around for your mothership to arrive...
  18. And pray do tell which planet your from Uranus?
  19. Why is a manumatic a crappy idea?
  20. My understanding & from what others/ I have read is that shifting between gears & trying to mimic a manumatic in a standard auto is bad. I have also heard stories of people busting their GB from excessive engine braking. Don't see the point in people trying to do this sorta thing in order to 'save' fuel, your better off getting a push bike or taking the bus.

Trying to avoid the dog would be the reason for some of these crashes. You're better off with a blood splattered fender than a totally wrecked car.
  22. Weren't Lau*fs promoting some new injector cleaning/filter system? Anyone try/know of it?
  23. No harm in trying the agents to get some sort of estimate. How old is the cam? You can also work out if the cost of repairing or getting a new one would be cheaper. Who knows it could be just a normal service/cleanup that's needed.
  24. Reminds me of Morris Minors
