  1. so now we've turned from autolanka to gossiplanka?
  2. Well he has a gdi turbo. That should explain the high revs when up-shifting.
  3. Removed my intake manifold and everything above it three times today. Should've known ordering oil packs on ebay was going to bite me in the a##.

  4. Hey stop lying. Cali if the big one right in front sitting on the roof with a boner. He's even pointing at it hoping one of the males will come over and lick the lollipop. Too bad Leonardo DiCaprio was out shooting a movie that day.
  5. Cey-Nor uses less fiberglass to build trawlers.
  6. No it's for the Tribute. Got the parts off rockauto. Everything else seems to work fine though. The only issues so far are with the tie rods and sensors. The tie rods were a lot larger than the originals. I'm guessng they may have put in a more heavy duty suspension. Eitherway I did mod them and get it to work. Thanks for the link. Will take a look.
  7. Yeah I rechecked everything and I guess I don't have the downstream ones. Sucks to be me because I bought all the parts off a U.S. catalog assuming it would be the same so I'm left with two downstream sensors that are worthless. The upstream ones work though. I think you forgot to paste the link. If you do get a chance to post it, I would be grateful.
  8. Hey guys, Here's my problem. I'm looking for the location of my downstream O2 sensors (catalyst monitor sensors) and for the life of me I can't find them. I know where the heated 02 sensors are and the others should be just below it. Ran the scanner and it's only showing the heated ones. Is it safe to assume the downstream sensors were not installed for the JDM model of my vehicle?
  9. I agree. Straight edges on the rear, curves in the front, spoiler, shark fin, chrome. It almost looks like a Nissan 350z raped a Passat and the resulting bastard child was molested by an eclipse.
  10. You know you should really consider going in to politics. Your retarded arguments and your pathetic attempts to counter everyone would actually work for the people sitting in the gallery..
  11. I'm not sure what the hell you are talking about or where the hell you get your information, but we still do have major issues with CVT transmissions in Sri Lanka. Most of the time a damaged CVT would require a replacement as there still aren't many people here who can fix them. CVT is still not recommended in Sri Lanka, yet people really don't have a choice in the matter as a lot of cars are going in the CVT direction. That does not mean it's more reliable and can be repaired. See this is what happens when people who know nothing about cars, living in Connecticut, start talking about market conditions in Sri Lanka.
  12. Had a look at OPs vehicle. Maybe you can help me figure this out. -OP says unimo adjusted that values on the sensor for the gas pedal (the io is not cable driven). Two weeks after the adjutment his problems begin. -From what I can gather, there weren't any issues previously. Unimo scan didn't reveal anything. -I scanned the vehice and I'm seeng p0170 (fuel trim malfunction). No other codes. O2 sensors are working fine. EGR, IAC is good. -Currect idle with a/c off is 950, on is 750. Idle remains stable at these values. the average idle with a/c off shoulld be in the 700 range. -Car feels like the throttle is bing ept open as if you would keep taping on the gas pedal. -There is no inherent problem with the TBs on the IOs. Yet his mechanic wants to change the TB. From what I see, it's fine. Usually I would assume this to be a throttle posistion sensor issue but the fact that unimo adjusted the values for the accelerator sensor leaves me curious. Any insight would be helpful for OP. Fromm what I can gather, is really seems like changing the TB would be an utter waste of cash.
  13. a.k.a right hand?
  14. what do you mean you repaired it for cheap? how exactly was it repaired?
  15. Your post full of grammatical and punctuation errors, is not one I would expect from a guy with two degrees.
  16. where do those ads say anything about carnet? are you retarded?
  17. Yep. Looks like you found your problem. If it's still in good shape just put it back, or else find a replacement. The round part that hold the rubber together in a bata slipper would work, if you can't find anything else. Just shape it so it fits through the hole.
  18. Would you not be better off buying a larger battery? That way you wouldn't have to worry about carrying things around while running.
  19. Your brake switch maybe bad or the bush on the pedal side has fallen off, preventing the switch from engaging. If you look under the dash and follow the arm of the brake pedal all the way in, you should notice a plastic box with a connector going in. You can twist it and remove it. Once you do this, depress the rod in the box inward, your lights should switch off, if the lights switch off, you are good and you would need to inspect/replace the bush that hits the switch. If it doesn't switch off, you would need to replace the switch. Hope I didn't confuse you.
  20. 1. It's to warn you that your lights are switched on . 2. More heat will cause hairline cracks on lenses, effect the reflective surface, etc.
  21. The vibration is due to bad motor mounts. The gear issue is most probably the clutch.

Also, I think you are under the impression that everyone on earth should bow down to your since you own a permit BMW. Let me tell you the harsh reality; you are an idiot, the entire world thinks you are an idiot and if you said all this bullshit out in the real world, someone would just slap the sh*t out of you.
