Although an electrical fault might be the reason here, it's quite possible the compressor doesn't engage due to the low refrigerant level in the system. In fact, this is the most common reason. You can of course check all the relays and fuses related to the AC, but that's about it. Take your car to a good AC workshop and check the refrigerant pressure. If it has dropped, there should be a leak in the system.

Top Gear/fifth Gear/jeremy Clarkson Videos!
Davy replied to Pasan_Robotics's topic in General Automotive
I was surprised to see Matt LeBlanc myself! And yeah, was quite happy to see some automotive professionals being involved. We can only wait and see how it turns out. -
High CO values means that your engine is running rich. The most probable causes are a failed Oxygen Sensor or a Coolant Temperature Sensor reading "cold" always. Since replacing the Oxygen Sensor seems to have dramatically reduced the CO level, It was probably bad. Before determining if an overhaul is actually required, what's the mileage on the car?

BBC Top Gear returns in May with the new set of presenters. http://www.topgear.com/car-news/top-gear-tv/meet-your-new-top-gear-presenters -
Older cars came with a very small coil inside the key head, and that works off EMI. A sensor built into the key barrel detects the change in magnetic field. Newer (I think after 2000 or so), most cars used RFID. OP's truck also seems to have a RFID chip.

Better check if there are any cameras pointed at you. Jokes aside, this is pretty good stuff!

Your best bet would be Delkanda.

Glad I could help. Yes, he is a very valuable contact and good gentleman as well. I have sought his help on many occasions.

Looks like a pretty bad puncture. I'm not sure if I'm seeing things, but I see a small bump on the sidewall as well. As you said, since the puncture is large enough to allow small bits of rocks and stuff to enter it, the repair might not hold for long anyway. I assume the patch applied from inside is just a small piece of rubber from a tube. If I were you, I'd get a new tyre and not risk it. Especially if you are driving out of city traffic. In any case, move the tyre to the rear. If you have a full-sized spare wheel with a better tyre, consider using that for the time being. Just my two cents.

Could be because the factory key has a transponder chip inside it that is recognised by the key barrel. It looks like a small magnet and should be inside the housing of your old key. Remove it and place it inside the new key housing. If the transponder cannot be located/removed from the old key, your car can probably programmed to accept the new key. Toyota Lanka should be able to do it for you I guess.

Vitz Ksp90- Whistling Sound From Silencer
Davy replied to hawkrider84's question in Mechanical problems
I wouldn't recommend applying oil. When the exhaust heats up, oil will start to emit weird burning smells and smoke. The best would be to use WD40 as Rumesh suggested above. -
Nice! Those do look like "F1"s. Wasn't aware this came in the CH. Especially the ES being the base model.

Looks absolutely stunning! Love it! How much I wanted these rims on my CS3 when I had it. I guess you're referring to the Lancer CG OZ Rally. It came with OZ wheels, but not "F1"s according to my knowledge. http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/9443-side-skirts-a-spoiler-for-lancer/page-3#entry257077

Just read a bit about the common rattle issue and the VTC rattle only lasts for about 2 seconds according to most people who have complained about it, and according to Honda themselves. Honda has released a service/repair procedure for this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTnufuKpp6c Service bulletin documentation here. Note that the documentation says that the VTC actuator issue is just a "probable cause". Could be the things Rumesh mentioned above as well. In any case, you should take your car to Stafford and have them diagnose the issue. They should be aware if this is a known issue.

Why don't you go to a place like P3tco Lanka or Advanc3d Car Audio and then get their professional opinion on whether your current speakers can be used with your new head unit or whether you will have to use new ones? You then don't have to bust your brains trying to figure out which ones are compatible - especially if you are not sure of what you want. As for the rear speakers, open the trunk and peek under the shelf behind the rear seats. Check if speakers are disconnected or are missing altogether. Also, I'd go for a full double din setup if I were you, given that the dashboard has a double din slot. Another option is to have a single din unit with a separate in-dash amp or equalizer that uses the remaining 1-din slot. Might be useful if you are a music nut.

I remember there being a lot of discussion about a cold start rattle for CR-V and Accord in Australia. Since the Vezel is basically as same as the CR-V, this might be the same issue. If it is, you should be able to find information about it on the web. It was an issue with the VVT system - a solenoid that fails prematurely I think.

Another one. Looks like we have quite a few in the country now. Photos belong to Shiran Diaz (Facebook)

Call Mahinda on 0714762223. He should be having reconditioned ones. I got both from him on two separate occasions and one cost about 9000 LKR back in 2012 or so. The drive shafts are stored in his shop at Panchikawatte.
