    Brake Caliper Painting

Yes, there are spray cans. Try the popular hardware store near Jubilee Post (Nugegoda) or the paint shops near the Slave Island (Justice Akbar Mawatha). I don't remember the exact brand names though. Maybe someone else on the forum does.
  2. You could be right. I tried with a Toyota Belta (JDM) and it never worked. Tried with my 2001 Lancer CS3 (non JDM) with Torque on Android and it took a long time to identify the ECU but no results could be obtained on the phone. Gotta give it another try when time permits.
  3. Yeah, I remember it being shown on TV also, on the news.
  4. +1 Yeah, lets give it a few more days until the hype fades away.
  5. Congratulations on your purchase!
  6. The same thing happened to me at Moratuwa. In my case, I told them that the car has a factory fitted tint (after which they inspeted it closely) and concluded that it really was when actually it is a sticker (which has a very light tint). I should remember the Navy thing next time.
  7. I can't believe I spent about 5 minutes staring at that engine bay.
  8. This was shared before as I remember... not this exact pic though. Man must have been quite a blow.
  9. Same incident, better angle.
  10. Just went back and checked out the pics of the original car, just to remember... and maan, what a difference! Good stuff mate.
  11. Cool! Something that I've always dreamt about doing.
  12. Yeah, a wider view would be helpful.
  13. If the two options are gun metal gray and white, my choice would be white since your paint is a bit purplish. Komi should be knowing a thing or two on the places to get your rims painted/powder coated since he got it done for the new set of rims for his Integra. Good luck! Please keep the thread posted on some "After" pics as well.
  14. I remember these being on a popular local gossip site titled "Iraj Weeraratne Engagement".
  15. I assume the front passenger puts his/her arm out (getting wet in the process) to push and pull the pole, causing the wiper to move back and forth.
  16. Pearl white... because pearls are more expensive than red wine.
  17. Spotted this at my mech's garage when I went there a couple of years ago and I thought this was worth a couple of photos. This is an Allion which was owned by a person who thought that his car could be driven forever with just topping up his tank. Sharing to stress the importance of routine engine maintenance (oil changes especially): Yes, the metal plate on the right has all the sludge that was removed from the engine cover. As the others have stated, just change your oil on time, and this will not happen.
  18. Glad to hear that he is showing improvement. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
  19. You've gotta be kidding!
  20. Damn... Correct! All yours mate.
  21. Okay, here goes...
  22. The new Rexton RX 200 right? Haven't seen one for real though...
  23. That's right... Take the floor mate. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/02/Austin_A30_Reg_July_1955_803cc.JPG
