Yeah true, that was an unbelievably dumb and moronic intro to the car? couldn't bare to watch more than this 15mins so don't know if this happened later in the program bud did they at least answer the questions that might pop up in the mind of a typical Sri Lanka Prius gang member? Like, How much is the range? How much will it cost for electricity for a typical charge? How much will it cost a km? How long will the battery would last etc? Guys, T*y*ta L*nk* is known for these kind of things. For a friend of mine for a so called tune up they have suggested replacing the injectors quoting a massive amount. Luckily the guy had the brains to give a call to someone who knew a thing or two and got out of it.

Milroy has been maintaining few of the minis that are around for some time. But I cannot comment on the level of expertise he / his team has. I too will not pay that price for it but may higher be for a limited JCW edition.

Most of the so called 2nd hand shocks are ones that have been refurbished by a few places in SL. I've heard that you can run with them for a few months but then you have to spend on them again. You should be able to replace with 2 b'new KYBs for under 20k if I'm not wrong, which should be a wiser choice.

Completely agree with you. But on this island there definitely are people who'd want to drive one of these and 'Claim' they restored it themselves and become a self-proclaimed enthusiast. You know, since Allions, Premios are too mainstream After the ownership the car may have to go under another restoration through a true enthusiast.

Got excited by the conversion fact and forgot to comment on the car I think its a beautiful journey overall Charith and I do envy you. My plan is to start the same journey someday with a E30 or if not a 36 and it's been a plan for a long time. But unexpected issues have been taking it away from me whenever I came close. Hope I could make it a reality at least next year. All the best.

Hey, try to find a M44B19 and go on the 318is path. I know its difficult find and all but if you can, many say that the best handling combination after M3. I've read the 6 pots make the car a bit heavy on the nose and with the power It becomes a bit tricky to handle. Think it will give a better P2W than a 325i as well. Cheers, K9M
