If any once interested you can find 15+ vehicles who's having there front bumpers removed coz people tend to misjudge the sudden acceleration of the car n knock on the guy in front plus u can find one car that's squashed in a very reasonable way but to my surprise pedals or passenger compartment was not harmed in a bad way. so believe safety wise the car is reasonably good

imagine waking up in the morning going to ur garage n finding dis inside it Jeremy is like fine wine, when it ages gets better he wasn't all that good in old TG but nw its all changed Aussie vs TG was good...others ain't that bad either...

plus these ancient cars wont hurt ur pockets that much when it comes to repairs etc.... even if u break down some bush mechanic can get them running least to a nearest town rather then waiting for a tow truck

no idea on the IST but have driven the Swift, which is excellent u feel at home in the car and can chuck it into corners with confidence... the one i drove didn't hv that much of a ground clearance as the Indian model. so i believe this might vary. went on a drive to Kandy.... nothing bad to report and this was an auto, no loss in power etc... no back ache or sorta stuff with long drives on uncomfortable seats. if u can just get a short drive. ultimately it would be you who should be comfortable with the ride

1.Reliability doesn't seem to be an issue although several years back MB had a rough time but guess both are back to normal (seems others should be able to shed some light on this) 2.Maintenance costs would be thumping amounts now won't it, 5 figure sums 3.Resale value the higher the value the harder they fall but guess these will hold on a bit better. i guess the comfort n prestige is better in MB than a BMW

all tech details you can find on wiki, from the start to the present model of engine lineup, so u can get a gud knowledge about this. i have a GT too... decent ride. parts are available with the agents m sure u can find from other shops as well... n i think any garage can handle the engine coz right now there are much more complicated engines available in the market. but dont just give it to any bloke to fix it if the engine is well cared for...it would be a decent buy. hv no issues with ma ride very pleased with it, no issues found so far

btw on the topic of the viva... u should also check the ground clearance...thats the only nag i got with the car...dats fully loaded of course. but if ur careful dat wont be a issue
