If its an auto it has to be the QG16DE (1600cc) engine, if its manual tranny its the QG13DE (1300cc). also I found this A*W only imported the 1.3l and 1.6l variants in 2010 it seems.

If you are talking about the N16 face lifted model, I think it has the same QG16DE (1600cc), QG15DE (1500cc) or QG13DE (1300cc) like the N16. But the latest imported N17 (face lifted N16) ones has only the QG16DE I think (correct me if Im wrong) In performance and Fuel economy think its the same as the N16.

The OP could check the alternator as Rumesh sugested, but come to think of it, could he run the vehicle for 3 years with a bad alternator?

K11, you have posted the same question 3 years back, have you being running the vehicle with the problem for last 3 years? http://forum.autolanka.com/topic/9008-nisan-k11-eps-problem/ I ones drove a friend’s K11 with EPS and it also had the same symptoms. The PS light would come on and the steering gets hard, also the engine sometimes stalled. I think the problem disappeared after he repaired the alternator.

Me nither, never had any issues with laugfs sheds. Used to pump from the one in thimbirigasyaya and Battaramulla-koswatta. Also I pump frequently from the one near dickmans road on galle road and the one near MC. In Kandy I always pump from Tennekumbura Petrol shed, no complaints at all. But most of the time I follow komi's steps.

1. The O2 sensors role is to determine the optimal air-fuel ratio so that the engine can run as efficiently as possible redusing emission levels aswel. The sensor can detect lean and rich air-fuel mixtures and inform the onboard computer to adjust the fuel entering the engine. If the O2 sensor is faulty the computer has no way of determining the correct ratio so your fuel figuers will become bad too. 2. I don’t think you can clean O2 sensors, the best thing is to replace it. 4. Don’t think any OBD scanner can actually damage the ECU. As most of the time, they only reads data from the ECU EEPROM not write. Correct me if I’m wrong.
