  1. Glad you got it sorted out!
  2. I think newer GPU's support HDMI audio, also the motherboard should also have a audio out if it has a integrated audio chip.
  3. machan where do you get these new chips from?
  4. Yeah last time I checked a basic one was around 35k I've heard some of these toner cartridges comes with a chip. After the chips counter reaches a certain limit, you will have to replace the chip in order to refill.
  5. Dude I recomend you a good desktop for gaming, I prefer to assemble my desktops. I've heard bad things about using laptops for games, probably because people using laptops that are not designed for gaming. Ones I've tried to run GTA IV in my G6 it went ok for a while with average graphics settings but started to overheat and went off. Never tried any games on it after that. Still prefer desktops for gaming because screen size and upgrading hardware is not a issue.
  6. Refilling works only for 2-3 times then you will need to replace the drum in the cartridge. Refilling a toner cartridge is a bit of a messy job isnt it machan? I've never seen how they refill a cartridge but I can picture it.
  7. also the price of the usd is a little down these days, only thing that worries me is the international warranty. Nobody seems to take it up in sl if it develop any trouble
  8. Yeah machan it was a good deal, bought it from Unity. But we also got three HP 630's for office with mine.
  9. I dont know about the latest models, Im using a HP pavilion g6(1322tx) laptop core i5 (2nd gen I think) / 4GB RAM/ 600GB HDD/ Ati Radeon graphics/ 15" LED LCD, which I bought nearly 2 years ago for around 65k. Didnt come with windows. Average performance, average battery life, reliable. I dont think this model is available now but there should be a replacement. Some laptops come with Windows 8 pre installed. Price might be a little higher. If you are around colombo, drop in to unity plaza to get an idea about the latest models and prices.
  10. Lmao!! The woman in that station wagon must have clapped when she finally went out from the lot.
  11. machan do you actually need color prints? if not dont you think a black and white laser will be enough. if that printer has a inbuilt ciss unit I think it will probably be more reliable than the ciss kits we install seperatly.
  12. Most of the time we print graphics and stuff that uses more toner, probably 1000-1500 is possible with only letters. most of the time we replace or refill when it shows signs of low quality. The 1102 is a very basic laser printer, it doesnt have duplex or network capabilities. I think there are loads of places that sell compatible toners for this model. But quality may vary.
  13. As far as I know 1500 pages are with 5% coverage. I could never get even 750 with any toner cartridge. You can get a HP P1102 for around 12,000 from unity. I have a CISS kit fitted into my Epson T13. Black colour seems to be a little low quality probably since I used a chepo 100ml rs.300 bottle. Otherwise nothing to complain.
  14. If you see 15V continuously I think there might be some thing wrong with the alternator. Like Rumesh pointed out the voltage should be between 13.8 to 14.2 V. Get it replaced or rebuilt asap.
  15. It depends, if you need only black and white prints I think the laser will be better. I dont know the price of your epson printer, but generally speaking, the price of a basic laser printer is higher than a basic inkjet. So the initial cost will be higher for a laser printer. Laser toners can be refilled with toner or you can buy a compatible one for half the price of a original. Compatible ones are supposed to be refurbished toners with new drum and toner etc. but print quality will be lower than of a original. If you are going for a laser I can recommend the HP P1102. CISS is also very economical but they tend to give trouble like cartridge not recognized, air bubbles stuck in the tubes etc. but these can be fixed easily. I dont know if these CISS kits are good for the printer, but buying genuine ink is very expensive because when you buy 2-3 genuine cartridges you have already spent the money for a new printer!
  16. Thats very true macho. But ones I saw a cute girl wearing grey leggings near nugegoda bus stand flashing her toe and butt, she got on to a 138 and headed towards pettah.
  17. Ok guys stop the gay talk and enjoy these
  18. Thats exactly what I thought when I saw that news. Too bad if we loose these legendary cars due to emissions laws
  19. One of my friends had a CV30 which developed a similar issue time to time. But the headlights didnt flicker only the dash lights. The problem was with alternator diodes. He said he changed the diodes and the problem was solved. But he had to change the diodes time to time. Your problem might be deferent though. I think its better to replace the alternator all together.
  20. eeew of course not! I'm already grossed out!
  21. shitty indeed. Taking a look at your pics will be better than talking about this budget
  22. So whats the latest news on your morning dump VVTI ?
