Dont know about Toyota but In peugeot's instrument panel holds the milage with the ECU. so changing could result getting a higher milage or low one depending on the doner vehicle. some sellers in UK sells with the milage and some stating "unknown milage". so if that the case in toyota you should keep that in mind as well when buying one.

VVTi is right. I knew this as well when I ordered the alloys with tyres for the 307. Took gamble and got it shipped in two box's two each for my name and a friends name.First when I went to Trico they said it cannot be released. Paid 24K to a contact and got it delivered home. Still was worth it.otherwise would have spent that amount on one tyre alone.

Check online if you can cut it with a blade and seal it with a new battery like what you have to do with the BMW diamond shape remote keys instead of getting a new key, those batteries are also not meant to be open and replaced. -

That is total BS as Harshan mentioned. Wonder which repair he got done that only Car M could have done? What did the car registration say? Sedan or Hatch back?

Is it a sky blue one or the gold color one? If its the gold colour one did you check the registration docs properly ? Have only seen 2 white color petrol 306 xsi hatchbacks.

Couple of years ago A popular car stereo fixing place repaired the power antenna mast of our then FB13. Charged 2800 only for the mast . but later found out you can actually buy a second hand power antenna unit from wijerama for 3500.
