It was raining, though not excessively when her car suddenly began to hydro-plane and literally flew through the air. She was not seriously injured but very stunned at the sudden occurrence! When she explained to the Police Officer what had happened, he told her something that every driver should know - NEVER DRIVE IN THE RAIN WITH YOUR CRUISE CONTROL ON.. She thought she was being cautious by setting the cruise control and maintaining a safe consistent speed in the rain.... But the Police Officer told her that if the cruise control is on, your car will begin to hydro-plane when the tires lose contact with the road, and your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed making you take off like an airplane. She told the Officer that was exactly what had occurred. The Officer said this warning should be listed, on the driver's seat sun-visor - NEVER USE THE CRUISE CONTROL WHEN THE ROAD IS WET OR ICY, Along with the airbag warning. We tell our teenagers to set the cruise control and drive a safe speed – but we don't tell them to use the cruise control only when the road is dry. The only person the accident victim found who knew this, (besides the Officer), was a man who'd had a similar accident, totaled his car and sustained severe injuries.. NOTE: Some vehicles (like the Toyota Sienna Limited XLE) will not allow you to set the cruise control when the windshield wipers are on. Even if you send this to 15 people and only one of them doesn't know about it, it's still worth it. You may have saved a life.

Just sell and buy a new one that fulfills your req. I think selling an alto is not difficult. Otherwise your turbo upgrade will be hazardous to the passengers, mountain bike brakes and indian engine head and block ... and according to you you will have to upgrade all.

Yes.. It is A9 road, Carpet is bit old between Naula and Dambulla. Then new carpet from Dambulla.
-
On that road I have been in Palapathwala-->Galewela stretch and Andiyagala--->Eppawala stretch. But apart from the part over the Balaluwewa/Kalawewa bund I don't feel much interested .[may be me] And roads are narrow and [ curvy on specially on Bambawa area]. And some parts with lot of potholes. Road runs through villages and sometimes you may find helmet less kids ride motor cycles on to you, Intoxicated men zig zaging in the road .... If you are really adventurous type it will be okay. Otherwise you just wanna go to Anuradhapura with minimal hassle just use A9 road.

Road works are on between Naula and Matale. You may experience maximum of half hour delay at the moment .

For An Urgent Leasing Detail Reqires..
luckey007 replied to nicu563's question in Car Buying Information
Welcome to the forum!!!! But don't use block letters hereafter throughout your post.... These are my experiences..... 1. Before you buy reconsider that can you afford.... monthly installment will be around 26000/=, It is for consecutive 60 months. And missing installment will be mess you like a hell. And consider added extra premium to the insurance....ect, And keep some money in hand for maintenance. 2. Usually leasing people do not bother much about your income. Again, the people who take bigger risk have bigger interest rates..... Kalu###ta is one of the [in]famous company. 3.There are lot of hidden charges.... eg: Document charges, Assessing charges, Stamp charges,.......be vigilant on them, 4.And again I do not think a businessman like you go for a car is a wise decision unless you are going to earn money from it [by rent or hire]Otherwise be there like you are and do not let your ego to kill you... Take it seriously... I have seen few stories.... If you really need a car go for a one around or below 1.5M. For that price you will find a decent one you can use for another 5-6 years. By the time augment your business with your profit, not a leasing company. Then go for your dream... No hurry.... Good luck!!! -
Or can carry 2 hooks attached to the charger and hang those in electricity lines with a crook in a desolate road side.. I really expect to see those situations in news soon as this is Sri Lanka. Read the article.. Does any one know what are the vehicles equipped with oil life monitors , being used in Sri Lanka?

Trucks are there.. If you go early in the morning you can avoid them...They are allowed to transport sand after 7am. And to travel from Mahaweli river to Dambulla they took around 2-3 hours. I usually use this window to avoid them, and now newly built road is bit broad it is not so difficult as previously to overtake... Yeah it is a headache....But what to do... Dude... I did last week, This is the latest situ....And what is your alternative to someone goes to Polonnaruwa, Trinco, Pasi, Sigiriya ,....... A9 road also under construction. So going via Kandy is also same....
-
From Dambulla to Galewela construction works are going on heavily and one lane traffic is being operated at few places. Galewela to Kurunegala stretch is almost done, but expect on and off disturbances . If you travel from Colombo, consider this route; Airport highway ---.> Katunayake---> Minuwangoda--->Giriulla-->Narammala---> Kurunegala

I am not the admin or I do not have any connection to the admin or to anyone who moderate this forum. But I do not think you will get warning points to it. But I do not think you will gain anything by doing it. I am damn sure who has a just even a 'crush',[ not a craze like you had ]would have been reached this tread .
