    Guys Just to get an idea. Was in a hunting for refrigerator for home use. any one use Samsung invertor type refrigerator? One of the sales executive state that it’s the most economical ( low electricity consumption) refrigerator in the market these days which comes with 10 years warranty that because of invertor ( no idea what is this ) any idea ?

      You can get a fridge at certain places with minor scratches for a bargain.

      dont know about the colling thing but there's one con in the inverter tech. i know a place where they got 12 inverter split type AC units. the 10 year warranty is for the compressor only i think. the full warrenty is only 1 year for the whole unit. there are lots of electrnonics involved and those are very expensive. if u had a fault with something other than the compressor after the full warranty is off either you have to pay big money for the company or your compressor warranty will be...

      yep 10 years warrenty is only for compressor & 1 year for the whole thing.i checked the samsung RT26 its invertor type one. i have a bit doubt abt the built quality as currently all are made in india.
