That's a great collection..... too bad Santa is bias towards kids, else I would have wished for all those cars to be real and parked in my driveway.

This is the same justification given by Hitler when he killed off the Jews... they were gassed as it was too costly and time consuming to put a bullet through their heads... bet he also said " no offence to Jews..... "

Nexus is right, that's definitely not a RS, You can say by the rear light also quite clearly the RS badge is missing. You said yourself you randomly bought it, nobody randomly buys cars and you need to do some background check on what you are buying.. quite surprising this was registered as a RS ? unless the entire front and rear had been replaced due to a accident ? Also do you have rear disk brakes ? But I think there are lots of other stuff you could do with that car, like mentioned by Kelum. Turbo charging a NA car is not that simple as a lot of other stuff many need to be done like the pistons, rods etc to handle the additional boost, in the end it will cost lot of money.

Need Help To Buy A Hatchback Car

How about this Proton..... I have seen a few 4 door cars similar to this in Colombo, maybe the agents are bringing it down now ? -
Guys, Need some help on the brake pad issue.... this is on a Grand Vitara, The squeaking noise started coming when braking, so I got the pads replaced at AutoMiraj, unfortunately I could not check what the brand was. But stil the squeak is there but very less... I assumed its due to the new pads, and it may take time for the pads to wear in to the disks . Its been 2 weeks now and still the noise is there. I now worry if the pads are too hard and it maybe eating in to the disk. Spoke to the guys at A*W and told me the same thing happens even on the original Suzuki pads, so they recommended me to get a softer pad. My question is whats a good brand ? or could it be that the sqeak is due to something entirely different than the pads. ( There is no noise when the wheel is rotating freely. )

Experience does count.....

If you want a good brand suggest you go to Gilbert & Co, but its not cheap compared to the other chinese stuff sold at many places. I have noticed the reverse sesors do not work well when raining, and give out wrong signals... maybe cos it was a cheap brand.

Errr...... so what you mean is when buying something go dressed like a beggar, then you will get a better price....

Hey.. I was just kidding, and you are right the governing body would have taken action if they felt there was something wrong. I am sure they would have watched all movie clips... Darin : That was some super driving, it was a pleasure to watch...

What Is The Cons And Pros For 1300Cc And 1500Cc
CARBON B4 replied to jayashantha12345's topic in General Automotive
Most of the power is needed to get the car moving from a stand point, here the 1.5 car will have an advantage, but when idle and slow driving the 1.3 maybe better in terms of fuel efficiency. Therefore a lot will depend on your driving style and the type of traffic that you normally drive. The 1.3 is ideal for smaler cars like the swift but for bigger car like the corolla it tends to be under-powered and you are better off with a bigger engine. -
If thats the case he is guilty as charged.... lets hang em..
-
If I were you I would get a lot more information when someone says the engine was fully repaired... like what exactly was the problem for the repair and what was replaced and how many oil changes done after the repair etc... Just like what Don has mentioned its good to do at least 2 quick oil changes after the engine is re-built.

Nice work, just want to know when you bought it on e-bay was it delivered to Sri Lanka and did you have to pay any taxes ? Was a bit confused when you said elimination,

8 Kmpl IS economical...

Well here is my unbiased two cents..... Its quite clear that PP had well and truly overtaken Ashan at the bend, as Ashan's path was blocked by the blue subaru. However PPs car is clearly not maintaining a straight line and its quite clear he tried to close the gap by moving to the left, but this was not a nudge, although it appears that way in the csn video, Verdict : PP not guilty.

Lets hope someday they will make cars like that, we have Power steering oil, break oil , engine oil , transmission oil, differential oil and these too have so many sub categories as well...

When you say decrease are you trying to say " fuel consumption can be improved ? " or If you have better ( new) plugs ) it will give a better burn, so it will make the most of the fuel that is getting in to the combustion chamber. So you may see some improvement in the vehicle power, this should not be interpreted as doing less on fuel, but the opposite.

In that case looks like the rims have been changed, best would be to just pump about 1 or 2 psi lower than whats mentioned for the 15" rims.

Ist 2002/2003 Medel-How Best This Vehicle &performane
CARBON B4 replied to carman1978's question in General
What he means is it needs more space to turn the vehicle.... a more detailed explantion is given below. My next door guy recently bought one for his wife.. wife seems to be quite happy with it. Its the new model not the 2002/3, this has some issue concerning spare part availability http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turning_radius Turning radius From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A turn with the turning radius beingr. The turning radius or turning circle of a vehicle is the size of the smallest circular turn (i.e. U-turn) that the vehicle is capable of making. The term turning radius is actually a misnomer, since the size of a circle is actually its diameter, not its radius. The less ambiguous term turning circle is preferred. As an example, Motor Trend refers to a curb-to-curb turning circle of a 2008 Cadillac CTS as 35.5 feet. By contrast, theAutoChannel.com refers to turning radius of the same car as 35.5 feet. It is often used as ageneralized term rather than a numerical figure. For example, a vehicle with a very small turning radius may be described as having a "tight turning radius". Two different measurements can be quoted for a vehicle. A curb or curb-to-curb turning circle will show the distance traveled by the wheels. The wall or wall-to-wall turning circle will include an allowance for the width of the whole car, including the overhang of the bodywork. For example, a van may have been quoted as having a turning circle (in meters) of 12.1©/12.4(W). It may be easier to imagine that on a road with low curbs, you don't need to consider anything other than the tires (12.1 meters), that is the curb turning radius, but if you were moving the vehicle inside a building, the corners of the vehicle might hit the walls so you need to consider the wall-to-wall turning radius (12.4 metres). A notable exception in this description is of vehicles that are capable of spinning around their central axis, such as a tank or certain lawnmowers and wheelchairs as they do not follow a circular path as they turn. In this case the vehicle is referred to as a "zero turning radius" vehicle, although whether or not the turning radius is actually nonexistent is unclear. Some camera dollies used in the film industry have a "round" mode which allows them to spin around their z axis by allowing synchronized inverse rotation of their front and rear wheel sets, effectively giving them "zero" turning radius. -
Unregistered Vehicle For Around 4.5 Million

Carmart has been advertising a lot on the new M3 & M2 cars, surprising you have not seen these and the new M3 looks nice and according to a friend of mine it handles well and quite comfortable... Although the Ford is a US brand the car is made elsewhere, but I think the M3 is still coming out of Japan,so it should be better. Anyway just double check the country of origin. Also I think things are improving at Carmart, and its not like what it used to be in the past... they were easily the worst agents ever.... but there seem to be a visible turnaround, and about time too. -
So your wife is in Seattle and you are here in Anuradhapura cycling for about 2 hours a day and you want to compete with each other via setalite assisted global positioning systems, pretty hi tec I must say.... Since you are using a i-phone was it unlocked locally ? and has it worked well in other parts of Sri Lanka ?
