  1. Did anyone of you see the part that i said need to see the chassis? You dont need another exact vehicle to do a conversion. Im sorry to contest with geniuses like you guys but to my knowledge it could be done and any part of the body could be fabricated to accommodate parts. There are excellent mechanics in this country who could do this. Once again i said some mechanics not all maka bass buggars. Anyways once again sorry if i offended you guys.
  2. Or you can covert it using Jap parts may be of a pajero etc. Will need to see the chassis etc
  3. Change to a VIC air cleaner and see.
  4. Check the diesel pump and the injector nozzles.
  5. Machan its still 250k for a vehicle thats just been registered. Then it goes down and after 3 years its 35,000. Things might have changed since those fools change everything almost on a weekly basis.

  14. Fair enough CJ5 but if you convert it properly you can benefit a huge price gap. For example roughly 2 mil gap between an original and a convert. There are some conversion kits that are pretty complete.
  15. Crosswind is bang on and i think its 35,000 after 3 years of registering. I think if you register it with in the first 2 years the charge is higher. I was going to covert a Montero but all the negative thoughts of people put me off a bit. Also what clarks son also said is bang on.
  16. Can someone kindly remind me on how to attach a pic here. thanks heaps

  21. I think your name says a lot about u. If your car is vibrating at 120km then drive at 100km and keep yourself and everyone else on the road safe. Don't kill others due to your stupidity and also don't become a road statistic and evening news. Good luck and drive safe machan.
  22. Nope your wrong. If you find the lost CR and take it to RMV they will cancel both CR's and issue a new one with the ORIGINAL printed.
  23. What i am saying is Machan there is NO way to get an original CR unless you find the CR that was lost. If the car is good and the RMV has all the valid documents and the reason the CR was lost is genuine then go for it i say.
  24. Yes you have to find the original registration. I once paid a deposit to a car and the owner at the time of the sale mentioned that the original CR was lost. To me i didn't mind at all as the car was mint and it was the genuine owner of the car. ( Was a DR). After that i went ahead and paid a deposit and told them that i will pay in full once the New CR (Duplicate) was issued. When the Dr went to RMV to apply for a NEW CR they checked their records and has told that they haven't sent the Original CR in the first place, and immediately printed a new one. I was told by the owner of the car that many people came to see the vehicle but people were reluctant to buy cos the CR would be a duplicate. She also gave it to me about 150,000 less than the what the car was worth at the time. To be honest I had no issues with the book being duplicate. In the end i was really lucky to end up getting the Original CR as well as the car at a great price.
