also note that Viva has a notorious fuel tank, sometimes you ca actually fill up to 7 L after fuel pump automatically cuts of (due air trapping inside the tank). best option is to get a monthly average. FYI my manual one does around 12 kmpl in traffic.

wearing of suspension parts directly relates with the mileage and the road conditions. Try replacing the entire arm with an OEM part than re bushing it.

I heard that there is an adviser post available at BMW aquman you better apply for that post and teach them how to develop more economical cars with cheap JAP engines. Also try to recruit your makabass as a consultant to teach them how to install engine properly.

Nissan Leaf And Future Of Electric Vehicles In Sri Lanka
peugeot407 replied to zee boy's topic in General Automotive
What I personally feel is at the moment electric vehicles are burden on the head. I know a person who has bought a Leaf and uses it to frequently travel fro Banadaragama to Colombo. A full charge can sustain his planned journey however an deviations he will be in big trouble. Regarding the charging stations available in Colombo most of the stations takes around 40min for a full charge and keep in mind there's on average about 4 cars waiting to get a charge. Apart from that during thunder storms (very frequent in my area) car cannot be connected to the main grid due to the risk of lighting. -
It will be gazetted. so follow the weekly gazette notices. However it will be difficult to compete with all the baiyas coming there with influential contacts and thuggery.

My advice for you is, these cars are more than 10years old and most of them has exceeded 200000km mark so no point bothering about the millage just consider the overall condition of the car and buy it. Most probably odo meter has been tampered at least one instance of their life time.

Earlier there was a ROCK clear coat that we have to mix with the final coat. However if you are using DeBeer HS lacquer you have to apply it separately. If you do not intend to apply clear coat (solid colours) you have to mix the final coat in a different manner usually done at the paint shop(rarely practiced in Sri Lanka)

Might caused by increased plug clearance with heat or HV leakage. Initially try replacing the plugs although it might be expensive since Hornet originally came with Iridium spark plugs.

I have a very bad experience with Abans. Back in 2005 I purchased two LG (12000 and 18000 btu) units from them. During the first year 18000 unit started giving electronic trouble and it took them a prolong duration (3 weeks) to rectify the issue under warranty. afterwards only using it for 1/1/2 years blower stated to give a thudding sound and finally stopped working. upon investigation it was found out that due to the heat generated by the blower motor the plastic housing has melted and motor has sunk into the housing. Abans admitted that this is caused by a manufacturing defect of the particular model and the entire indoor unit housing and the blower motor has to be relapsed. However they did not agree to replace it free since warranty period is expired and I had to pay 25000 Rs for the repair. Unfortunately this unit again developed the same problem after six months and i replaced it with a Panasonic Inverter unit. On the other-hand the 12000 unit didn't give any trouble and perfectly functioning to date.

Becoming certified by German tech is a lengthy process. it will take around three years to finish the course and German tech certified technician are in high demand in both SL and abroad. However going through this process for a car restoration project is not worth.
