    the civic's battery hasn't been replaced yet. he is still looking at the options available... will keep you guys informed on what happens.

    just spoke to a friend of a friend who had a civic. he was only getting 9 as well till his battery had died. he highly recommended NOT to buy a civic

    the numbers i hear from owners are no where close to what is being quoted by most people i was told by insight owners that they only get 12-15.. nothing more than that.. does anyone actually get 18-20?

    guys, seeing all the hybrids around town, was thinking of buying one for the daily run around. what i'm hearing is that hte prius gets around 15-17 per km and the insight does slightly less any ideas on how the civic does? i'm actually interested in the civic since that doesn't ahve the typical hybrid rear end.

    with the RFT's coming on the new x1's etc, and the repair kit being an additional purchase, i guess the only thing to do is to keep going till you get to a tire shop.

    i usually put my car to auto force for the tune ups.. they do a good job. autoforce is on saranankara road in dehiwela

    an engine tune up does many things from what i know apart from checking and replacing things like filters/spark plugs. they also clean out the system (injectors etc) using cleaners/sprays from companies like wurth or 3m i usually give my car to autoforce once a year for a tune up. they do a good job. i believe a tune up can save you pain later on... routine cleanup

    the law doesn't explicitly talk about using the phone, they actually write you up for not having both hands on the steering wheel. this is why using speakerphone is also an offense. best it to turn the speaker on, either put it in your pocket or rest it on your shoulder. as long as you have both hands on the wheel, you are ok.

    for the 4wd lights blinking, i had the same problem. took it to unimo and they did a service/cleanup of all the 4wd sensors etc and it's been working fine since your best bet is to take it to unimo, do a diagnostic on the jeep before taking it anywhere else.

    60k seems to be a magic number my old mazda which i had for 3 years (sold about 4 years back) and done well over 100k when i sold it appeared on AL with 60k again
