ha ha that made me search the internet and your name lead me to Sri Lankan old tv ads FB page, apparently you have made a request there. Enjoyed a lot of old ads posted there, brought back good old memories from the good old days. Its sad that they don't make ads like those anymore.

Unfortunately some of these pricks never learn their lesson till they run into a leyland head on. They think overtaking on single/double lines, running a red light without getting coped is cool and some kind of a skill that only they have.

Is the inverter affected by voltage drops and sudden power cuts? My parents bought a inverter refrigerator to replace their 25 year old National double door (still in perfect working condition) and in that part of Kandy sudden power cuts are frequent.

Does this smell come even in regular driving conditions or under heavy breaking or when going down hills etc? Its better to get your whole system checked asap, calipers, piston, discs, pads, shoes for break binding etc. Its the break system we are talking about here better not to take any chances.

If the tune up is good, all spark plugs, plug wires, throttle body, IACV, MAF etc and all mounts are good, it could be the CVT it self. Does the gears engage without issue?

I don't think the 240 came with gel mounts, the 260 did. -
