    Never heard of a chicken bucket but the guy at the dealer ship (he was a 'murrican) explained everything in Liters. Maybe because I was Asian or maybe because it was Toyota. You are good bro. I know what you meant. You are right they are two different categories. But I wish it had the features like LED headlights, auto diming side mirrors, illuminated mirror control buttons etc.

    It's a decent SUV with the 2.5l engine it has some good acceleration. I have the XLE but it doesn't have some JDM features the axio and premio had.

    I sold the axio mainly because I thought the hybrid battery would start having issues. Now I think it was actually a decent car with decent acceleration compared to heavier cars like Allion/Premio.

    Anyone got the revenue license online recently? Know if the system is reliable at this time?

      Thanks guys I went ahead and did it on Friday. @Dee Jay Yes the temp license is valid for a month hope they will post it before it expires. Online licenses will get piled up, I sure hope they won't screw it up. Things will get complicated if I had to explain all this to the police. Once a police officer stopped me and when I gave him the temp revenue license he didn't have a clue what it was 😀

    Guys what does this mean. Its printed on the CR book: 527. Importation of motor vehicles in terms of trade and investment policy. Circular no: 01/2018. Can I transfer this car to my name or do I have to wait for 5 years?

      2018 should not be a problem, if there is any restriction it would be mentioned.

    The car sales guy took down the ad seconds after I sent both pics saying that it was sold 😄 I'm certain that it will reappear soon with even lower millage .

    I think this is a common issue with Axio. My 2015 Axio had this issue as well but only on the driver side mirror. So it was easy to unfold by hand. I just press the fold/unfold button and give it a small push by hand while the motor is running. Don't know how to solve it though. Maybe removing the cover and greasing up the clog wheels would make it work for some time.

    Like when buying any other vehicle do a proper inspection preferably at the agent.Along with the regular things pay special attention to the HV battery and HSD system.

    The price tag is too good to be true. Its either a high millage one or failing HV battery. Get it inspected thoroughly.

    @Toyotaonly Do you mean there is nothing on the LCD display screen? Have you tried pressing the arrow keys and other buttons on the steering wheel? Also when you heard the beep are you sure the car was completely switched off and that it was in P and not N?

    Nice one bro. I did not know it had an on board motion sensor. What about the heated mirrors? Should be helpful these days.

    So the new one you got has an expiry date? My magnetic strip one is also fading away, maybe it'll become unreadable during next year.

    Some one told me or I read some where that you needed to take the test again when applying for the new type of license (the one with the chip). So you get the old type (with the magnetic strip) when renewing?

    We stayed at Green Nest Holiday Bungalow, not a bad place only had 4 rooms at that time, could accommodate about 15 people I think. Cooks food wasn't that good but the place was clean and had lovely views of the mountains. Like Pericles said the winds makes ghostly sounds at night. One of the best hotels that I have stayed at. Good food, good rooms nice garden with wonderful views.

    Yes roads were ok when I went there 2 1/2 years ago but I don't think the roads have changed much.
