      You only live once. Get what you want. If you don't, your relationship, once the honeymoon phase is over, will suffer down the road as you will blame her for not getting what you really want (it will be rooted deeper than it just being a car). Think about it...what's going ot be next ? Spending so much time and money following 80s/90s pop-rock bands around the globe is irresponsible ?

      Besides, your gf should judge how responsible (or not) based on so many other factors instead of just one purchase. Do you work hard for it? Do you make sensible choices in other areas (like where it matters). Just have a conversation with her.  Make her realize that it is not just about mobility. Heck, if it was just about mobility a bicycle would be the most responsible choice.

      Besides, this is an investment. Dude...that old car is still worth 22,000 EUROS !!! Will probably be the same (or even more 5 years down the road). There aren't any other new cars for that price that will not depreciate.

      @iRagethanks mate. I had a long conversation with her and explained and she understood. I got the green light from her to buy it. She said "Go get it Tiger" :D
