yes i am also talking about the 3.5l domestic model. thanks for all the info. cant afford a original diesel Montero. its over 8mil when i checked . i have seen a original diesel kit and will install it only if the jeep is really bad on fuel and i will do the conversion.i previously owned a Montero sport and i had converted that and had no issues. it was really good and i just sold it in a idea of buying a Montero. fingers crossed and if you know anyone selling one for around for 4.5mil pleases PM me . thanks again for all the info was really helpful.

hey, 3-kmpl that's terrible some one told me at worst it would do 5kmpl.since you own one and use one you will know better. yes i have got gdi for 4.7milliom am trying get it for 4.5million. I have considered a diesel conversion after buying the vehicle if its really bad. just to know if i pump 90 octane and run with the check engine light working will it cause any damage to the engine?

hi, i need your help! i have been looking out for a montero/pajero (GDI) version in the market and the average price has been 5million for manufacture year between 2000-2001. do you think these prices are the market price or should it be between 4-4.5 million. your info would be great. thanks in advance

i think you can fix the d22 body even. just that you might have to adjust the body mounting places. i am not sure but i have seen a 40- double cab with d22 body. i have seen a d22 complete cabin with the tail end (bukkiya) for 8.5lacks in kottawa !!

hi, regarding Toyota double cabs they are imported from U.K and Thailand. they come with 3 engines 1.3000cc common rail inter-cooler turbo 2.2500cc common rail inter-cooler turbo 3.2500c common rail turbo without inter-cooler. features are basically full option but some you get the rear canopy and leather beige trim interior with a illuminated dash. on Mitsubishi and navara am not that sure hopefully someone else will be able to help. but it comes with a 2500cc common rail turbo and on the Mitsubishi Sportero you get a variant called the animal suppose to be the highest grade on it. Nissan Navara comes with a 6 speed manual gear box also hope this helps! if am wrong please correct me.

guys i been looking fo y60 as well. unfortunately most of the LWB y60 are asking over 4 million for high roofs. that i dont mind if its a flat roof. if u guys know or have any nissan patrol for a reasonable price please PM me it would be a great help.Regarding Body permits its best advise u stay away from it bec the cops are very strict and really after these vehicles.if u go toward kurunagala many of them have been seized ,also i have seen a few seized in the nawala police station. better go for 60,61,63,64 numbers to be safe.

hi again, thanks for the reply and your most welcome.Regarding what you had mentioned the prices according to its condition was high.I had sold my D22 last year for 3.6million with all extras like 33inch tyres , armadillo front and rear and A.R.B shocks rear canopy from T.J.m etc.but i think if your getting for around 3.3million to 3.4million is ok for 99 models.The reason for lot of these vehicles are not selling now is bec the car market has come down a lot so has the prices.Anything less than the above prices seem to be your getting a good deal. Since your looking for a D22 i would suggest for you to look for a 97 to 99 model called the AX LIMITED.This is the highest grade in d22.This is the one i had and it was one of the few that came manual also bec most of it is automatic.To identify this model it comes with a digital A/C side steps body kit and and the audio set up comes top of the dash board.So their is space to fit a DVD SETUP .The other models u cant fix on top bec the radio comes in the bottom,So try your best to see for the AX LIMITED version. Also look for domestic models than brand new once.Bec the brand new one has a very plain interior compared to the domestics.Also the 4wd comes auto hub in domestic but the brand new one you will have to get off the vehicle and on it.But their is much major differences between brand new and recon so go for domestic. i will send u a personal msg with the shop name and contacts please check. Hi again! yes i meant the body parts also its available don't worry about it.you can get those mostly in kandy road and kurunagala and the company but in the company it's really expensive. Also i have seen many shops having the entire body too.bec of this new body permit thing lot of these sellers are reluctant to brake it up but still with little effort you can get it. Then about the engine it came in two models:- 1.2700cc turbo not sure if it was inter cooler bec this engine came mostly in D21 very few D22 2.3300cc non turbo this was the engine i had.it's a really good engine you can top over 300000km on this. my one had done 170000km when i sold it and no oil burning at all and very powerful for a diesel cab and had no complains. Definitely more comfortable and more powerful than the Ln107 2.8l engine and the handling was great for a cab. Tip-No vehicle is easy to get spares and better on fuel when compared to Toyota that's why the toyota vehicles are more expensive and better on resale. *any spares you want for Nissan d22 can be brought down in 2 weeks if not available.their is a reputed seller in panchickawatta who does only Nissan genuine parts. i don't kw if i can mention the shop name here but if u do need the contact just let me kw anytime.i have a Nissan patrol and any stuff i don't get here i order it from them.

hi their, regarding your question i use to own a nissan d22 ax limited manual black one.it was 99 manufacture. i previously use to own a toyata LN107ssrx i sold this and brought the nissan.lot of ppl will tell u the toyata is a better vehicle.but i using both i noticed the toyota was only more stronger on off road and better on diesel but nissan was not bad either.when it comes to power styling and comfort the nissan was way ahead.company has most or all the spares for it, so does delkanda and panchicawatta.so spare parts availability was great. the only problem was the back of the cabin was lacking in space .it does around 7to8km per ltr bec i had put in 33inch tyres.Overall good vehicle resale is not good as toyota have to hold on a bit can get your price.bec i sold mine too. Hope this helps you.

Hey velocity thanks for the information bro.This place is little off kurunagala in a place called ibagamuwa.If u go to kurunagala just ask for ibagamuwa water tank and they will direct u .Its very easy to find and is a ver safe place to have fun.
