Yeah I hope so too ? UNIMO does better in that regard, almost all their spare parts are sourced from Japan including oil filters. The OEM filter you got for the EC was made in Japan right?
-
I'm guessing Alibaba. OEM oil filter sold by Toyota Lanka is manufactured in China too though.

Yes. If the headlights look like this that makes it a GLX too

SAY WHAT??? If this is KJ-284X you're talking about, it is a GLX. Apart from AFS (projector headlights) and multifunction steering wheel (which is a cheap upgrade if you want it) almost all other differences between those 2 models are purely cosmetic so I'd say it's still worth it

Those pop up on the ads and go poof so can't remember how much those were advertised for, but you should be able to find a 2008-2010 one below 4.5 for sure

Go for the Lancer EX! It'd be just like buying a Peugeot 4007, almost the same interior and better looking exterior

Lancer CS2 Fuel consumption and Driving experience
Hyaenidae replied to Nayana93's question in Car Buying Information
Not sure if most CS2s are GDI, I'd say there is an equal number of GDIs and MPIs Anyhow, It's quite easy to find out which is which: https://elakiri.com/threads/mitsubishi-lancer-gdi-ද-බලමු.1882176/ -

Well not really. For example, the 4A9 engine series which is being used in Lancer, ASX, Xpander and Nissan Livina was designed by Mitsubishi and built in Germany by Daimler. The Original MANN part number was printed on the original air filter (CU 2141) so I looked it up and found out that there is an another version of the same filter with activated carbon (CUK 2141) so decided to go for it Well it was posted from Germany and had the tamper proof seal and the glowing sticker thingy and stuff, but there is always a chance that this is a grade A replica At the time of purchase (2017) there was a difference of almost 2k IIRC, and the filter agent had was manufactured in 2015 or 2016 (manufactured date is printed on the filter). This way I got a filter manufactured in the same year.

I too got mine from eBay

I used to have the occasional "car talk" with this elderly driver of a Govt. department who complained that for all the amenities Japs had come up with for the vehicles they made (for him, Japs made everything related to cars, no matter what the make is) they couldn't come up with a Padikkama so he could enjoy his Wita without having to worry about ruining someone's day when he expelled its remnants, he'd have a cow if he hears that his technological deities of Japan has invented this instead of a mobile Padikkama

And some more torque, plus a slightly different exhaust I'd guess nowhere, it just hangs out? I thought it's a quirk of the 4A91 engine but Trinity's 4A91 doesn't have it. It doesn't even have a part number

Ah,.. well, On the plus side, the coolant reservoir tank is clean(er) now! You can see if the coolant is discolored without even removing the cap, that little blue bit is coolant.

Guess that would be fine with the electricals, but do we really need to keep the engine bay clean? It's understandable if our roads are being salted as its corrosive but afaik we don't have corrosive materials on our roads that could end up in the engine bay, so apart from fluid leaks being easily visible I don't see the point of cleaning the engine bay ?♂️

They did want to do an engine bay wash but I refused as usual, if dried coolant won't degrade anything I'm perfectly fine with having coolant stains inside the engine bay.
