Toyota Cynos

[New to the newbees........]

Hey guys, I found a good toyota Cynos 300-XXXX for 1.05M. Can be bought for 1M. Car looks OK. Is it the price of that or what? And if in case of emergency(Money) which is gonna happen, can I give it away quikly?

So what do you guys think? I should go for it or I should consider something else.

My budget is around 1M.

If not this, what can I buy for that price. (Should be at least 300-XXXX with ability to sell quickly?

if u need to good looking car u can go like eg8 or ck2 etc.

Agree , if you want to sell fast. if EG, go for a VTEC and less molested one.Easy to sell.

Your options are big, hunt through weekend classifieds.

By considering eg8 and ck2 i think ck2 is more easy to resell than eg8. what do u think???

R u willing to go through weekend classifieds (specially lahipita) you have to buy it Saturday morning and check available cars. Otherwise Fu****g car sellers bought all good cars for low prices. (specially around Colombo...)

miniace, agree with you, but this dude will have a hell of a time finding a unmlosted eg. specially a vtec. and of course at his budget.

may be a ae 100 if he can stretch his budget a bit

The problem is it's very hard to find a good vehicle with a quick resale ability as most of the cars stated as 1 Million are too old, 10 to 15 years or more. I think Cynos for that price is reasonable,but the quick resale is questionable. I think if you can go for a eg or Corolla AE which will be easier to sell,I personally don't think CKs are easy to sell.

Imo, the only way to sell a vehicle quickly is to sell it at a lesser price than it's current market value. The more popular a car is, the more vehicles there are for buyers to strike good bargains from.

And to add to the list OP, there's also the March K11, Kia Rio, and the Indian cars.

Unfortunately that is the SL known stupid market trend.If you see around you will see more toyotas than any other brand, then you will see Nissan, and then Honda, have you seen Mitsubishi around more frequently? I think it's not all about the model whether it's AE,EG,CK it's about the brand.The normal factor in SL market (not my personal opinion) is that HONDAs are better than Mitsubishi.The reason you see more toyotas on the road means ,even though they want to buy other brands ,when they think about resale value,finally they tend to change their mind and go for a Totoya (It's not that Toyotas are good,it's just the trend setup by the market)

point to add! and if you maintain your car with utmost care and if it looks and runs perfect, i think there will be no hassle selling it.

Agree... but by ignoring reselling and fuel consumption honda and mitsubishi is more better than toyota and nissan... isn't it???

Yes agree with you 100%,as far as fuel consumption is concern Mitsubishi is better than Honda, I think most of the Honda owners are people who's not much care about Fuel consumption,they just buy it for driving enthusiasm.

Never had problems parting my EG...CK2 is also good or equally good.

try a ae100 if u want to resell it quickly...if u want a sporty look. u can even consider marino, sporty with ae100 economy

AE 100 is easy to sell... but Marino and Seres is not very easy to sell...

But if you are planning to live the sports look and plans of pimp a bit The EG is ok...a properly tuned Vtec version can deliver nearly 12km/l and a Carb a bit more kms.
