Toyota 1Nz-Fe (Mine Is Toyota Vios 2004) Recommended Octane Number To Used

VIOS 2004 or any later.......is designed for Octane 91 or above. AFIK in SL we have Octane 90 and 95. IOC Never uses the word Octane when they mention the EURO 93.

Higher Octane number is required to prevent or lower knocking in high compressed ratio engines. Else the knocking will occur. And in SL many drivers say :ignition ghanawa, engima hondata thiyenawa". Actually pre ignition knock is not good.

Please refer to the car manual. It clearly says this. Also search the web, the 1NZ-FE engine repair manual clearly state about what I am telling.

Bit of tiered telling the same thing again and again. Because some guys just do not care and pump 90. If one has a finance issue, then he has no option. But rich big shots also pump Octane 90 and laugh at 95 users.
