I am considering purchasing a 2006/2007 BMW E90, but since it is an older model with likely high mileage, I want to make sure I am aware of any potential issues that may arise. I am passionate about car modifications and have a specific interest in doing an M conversion on this car.

Can you provide any advice on what to check when buying this particular model and what common issues I should look out for? Are there any specific areas of the car that tend to wear out faster with high mileage that I should be aware of? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
