Hey, I have a 2002 Legacy RS30 sedan imported from Japan. I live in New Zealand and the Legacy has a 'Subaru Hybrid Navigation System'. This thing will not work in New Zealand, and won't even play DVD's.

Can anyone tell me IF there is a possibility of loading new GPS software which will run in New Zealand, or at least remove the stupid warning I get in Kanji ALL THE TIME. Also - does anyone know how to get the DVD going - it works and reads DVD's fine - it just wont play them. I think I may need a remote???

PLEASE help me - it is really annoying when things dont work!
