Hi all, I'm new for the forum and thanks for the admin to allowing me to use the forum.
I have a old Nissan Sunny SB12 (Diesel, Manual). There is a problem in the brake booster,. Sometimes when I press the brake its too hard to push down the paddle. Its not happening every time. I checked the vacuum hoses coming from the vacuum pump attached to the alternator. Found no damages at them.
Also I experienced that when I pressed the brake paddle 3-4 times, handbrake indicator on the dash board flashing for few seconds and engine getting slow for few seconds. I found there are 3 parellel indicators for the brake light on the dash board. One line goes for vacuum sensor.
Anybody got any idea on this matter? Am I to replace the booster or the vacuum pump?
Surrounded by various different nice car models in Germany but still fascinated by the Presea, Bluebird U13 and the Mark II.. The first cut is the deepest.. Baby I know, the first cut is the D he he he
What is the deal with the car market these days!!
I went to check on a Jimny, 2016 2nd owner and he's hellbent on 6.8mil for the thing,
approx 50000km+ mileage
Needs tyres, rear shock absorbers leaking and there has been an aircon repair as well.
(Approx 400k LKR in pending repairs making the total 7.2mil)
Whereas a brand new one can be imported between 8.2-9.5 given the grade and winning bid.
I ponder what the mentality is of the people of this country...🤣
