Steering Oil Level: Cold Min/max, Hot Min/max?

hi,

what's meant by Cold Min/Max, Hot Min/Max in the power steering fluid container.

in the container it displayed like :

{

Hot max -

Hot min -

clod max -

cold min -

}

service guy told me that its only needed to fill oil up to the cold max. but i'm not sure about it.

(i did the 1st service of my fb15 1 week back)

Go up to cold max when engine is cold.
