Hi Guys

Is there any one who knows the procedure of renewing process of driving license,I have got

Class A (All Vehicles)and D(motor Bikes),trying to contact werahera office no one answer the phone,

any one can give me any other number except this to contract them 0112518950

Try the government help center 1919. They will be able to help.

Should be the same number with any local operator...

Hi Guys

Got th License done yesterday, spent the whole day ,4 hrs for the medical at C T B Medical Institute and another 3 hrs at Werahera, things have change a lot than the previous time, Don't rely on their web pages rates and all have gone sky up,they have mentioned 350 per one renewal,now it 1700 for normal and 2200 for one day service,don't buy any photograph because they will not take then they take them while you are seated at the counter,make sure when you go you dress as how you wanted to be in the license,i took photos and went with tie and all but not used they took me another one there with a t shirt with dirty looking face .they give maximum of 4 yrs for heavy vehicle and 8 years for the Light vehicle license

Did you manage to get this done on one day? Exam, Trial and all?

I want to upgrade mine to Group D.

Actualy i didn't have Trial, because this is only renewal of licence not a new taking

Actualy no trial for renewal, that is there for new licence only, if you dont have heavy vehicle licence(earlier A Series)

you have less trouble you will be able to get it done within the same day, for heavy vehicle licence they have strong medical checkup etc.
