  1. I did mine yesterday at Kaduwela, They didnt ask me the Emission Test document at all. (I had it with me but didnt show to them. Wanted to check whether they need it or not. )
  2. Don, I took the car in to my place and the electrician said that there is no wiring issue or any faulty horn switch in there since it was never been removed before. still the issue is there. dont know where to take it and fix the issue. F1..F1... please....
  3. Hi guys, One of my friends is facing a wired problem with his Horn, Vehicle is Nissan FB15 Super Saloon; and following is what I experienced when I drive his car. When the vehicle is on start (not moving), the horn works fine, even if I drive it around 30-40kmh (while driving) still the horn works fine, but if I try to pull it over 80 or drive more than 8 - 10 Km over 60, and if I hit the horn while driving, it does not work at all, some times it works. (I had to keep hitting the horn) As he said, it gives him a very hard time when he is on long run. Some time it’s not working at all till he slowdown the vehicle. He had replaced his horn twice and the wired thing is the horn does not get burned. Even no issue diagnosed in Fuses. What could be the issue here?
  4. Thanks for the info machan!!
  5. Machan, cheers! But no offence with Auto guys But machan, when it comes to manual vehicles, what makes it cheaper? Does the comfort counts or fuel consumption? I don’t really understand that. I may be having less knowledge in that area, but would like to know what makes that different. My baby is a FB15 manual, if compare the same Auto in same condition; I still feel manual does the best. (Less transition issues, no much sudden stops, no sudden pulls etc) I have no offence with Auto vehicles; they are good in traffic, no leg pain or anything. Does the same situ in other countries? Other words, does the manual vehicles are cheaper than Autos'? Chao!!
  6. Ripper> Hows it going bra? Still looking for some info ?
  7. Machan i dont know for what reason, i dont like Auto Transmission Cars, Is your friend's one is a auto or manual trns? what will be the difference between these 2. Thanks PS. Difference means the value difference.
  8. How about the newest B15?
  9. Same one..!! http://forum.autolanka.com/index.php?s...amp;#entry74714
  10. If no exterior work, has good Tires etc, can go around around 1.4 - 1.5 mil
  11. Here is one of experiences of Headlight Flashing and honking.... On a SUNDAY, I was not well and my wife was driving me to the Nawaloka Hospital (i guess we were around 45-50 at that time) and there was a Montero guy showed up flashing behind my car, honking moving his ride like a toy all over the road near the Castle Street Hospital, and my wife got little panic and turn to the left lane (well signaled) – (trust me, she has good road discipline than me.) Guess what, it’s not either V*P or Min. just a young funky fellow (looks like he came from abroad) age not must be 19-21 years old. He just makes a sharp cut and stopped the Montero. At that time, I knew this guy did not see me sitting in the passenger seat, he just saw there is a guy in the car, and then he just hit the gas. What this guy wanted to do with his BIG Bird? Wanted FLY over me? Or wanted to race his Montero with a Lady driver? Why does he really need Flashing headlights in 2 lane road where no Traffic on a Sunday noon? God knows why!!
  12. Ripper > Good research machan, this will help most of us to understand our fuel consumption issues.
  13. I bet you can bargain. 1.3 mil for a 300- is little high for me.
  14. As per the news papers, this is confirmed and affective from today. My License gets expired in August and can I come to Super Car Meet Up (http://forum.autolanka.com/index.php?showtopic=5243) and get it certified? Acording to the above statement, i can not get my lincense renewed with out this test correct? please advice.
  15. Is this is the same Emission Test that we suppose to do (introduced by the Government) to renew the Car Licence? Mine get expired in Augest this year and will this affect to renew my licence this time? please advice.
  16. Machan, i admit your point. But, what i feel is at least a sri lankan could be able to come up with a concept of it at last . There will be so many people, companies to buy this from him and give solutions for H2 gas issues etc. But my point is that at least he could be able to get the concept built, as fellow sri lankans, we should appreciate his work and the talent he has. I got a mail today about this CAR and this guy. The Vehicle he used for his previous experiment was taken back by the owner and never returned his equipments back to him even. Even he does not have money to do his research etc. I think we should encourage him to improve his concept and reduce the risks at some point.
  17. You are a lucky guy in that case, you had your uncle in police. If it happens to a person like me (has no contact in police or anything), I dont know what to do, because we cant bribe the the cope ever again cos, then they start saying that we are trying to bribe them etc etc. Once same kind of thing happen to me and finally I decide to call up my insurence guys and bare my damages. Its hard manage with these bus guys and trishaw guys.
  18. Sure..., Promise..., Defa..., 'Ammapa'...'Deiyampa'... i'm going to buy a push bike this time if they increase Fuel prices. ei machan apitama arinne mun?
  19. Nilantha, machan have you ever done a TuneUp at Nissan Agents? if so can you comment about their work?
  20. I understand what u mean..... Thanks machan.!! but, I have a doubt since the agents has the Consult tool and the other suff, they could help me to improve my fuel consumption by doing a tuneup (cleaning injectors, replace filters, Plugs and reset the ECU) Would like to know if there are any satisfied customers and advices from them before i go.
  21. How about getting other repairs done by the mechanic and only the tune up done by the Agents? At the moment, i really need to improve my fuel consumption.
  22. Hi Friends, I'm thinking of taking my B15 in to Agents (A*W) for a complete TuneUp and do other regular checkups and repairs. But, couple of experience/comments posted makes me little nerves to bring it there. I would really appreciate if you comment on this matter. Its nothing wrong with my mechanic, but he always does manual ECU reset etc, this time I want to get connected to the Consult scanner and get all the settings reset and do a tune up from agents. This thing burning in my head, Can agents (A*W) do a better job on tuning my car and improve its consumption?
  23. Will this fuel system cleaning job increase the fuel consumption? I mean, can we feel a big improvement? I admit that this should be done atleast once in a year or 6 months, but, from which can we make a big fuel consumption improvement between manual injector cleaning and total fuel system clean?
  24. heheeeee!!! good one Magnom!
  25. So dont drive that Mini!! just kidding bro! See, It happens some times, some times it depends on the mood of the perticular cop. some time he may have missed his lunch or something. I have released couple of times even i was 100 at Rathnapura. Better avoid speeding in those kind of cities and its good for our pockets. for my experience, Cops has their own way of telling things. Hard to please!!
