Place To Buy A Good Horn (Around Colombo)
Twin Turbo replied to Nadeeshabey's topic in General Automotive
The key to long life with these 'snail shell' horns is keeping them away from water ingress. fit them high so they face down, water from flooded roads and service stations will kill them. parts shops at Dar== road will fit these in mins. there's a model whichplays sirens too. -

Twin Turbo replied to buddhi's question in Mechanical problems
Just remove the valve cover. it's healed in place by two bolts in the 3K engine if I remember correctly. -

Engine Oil Level Reduces And White Smoke After Overhaul
Twin Turbo replied to buddhi's question in Mechanical problems
who did the o/h on your engine? -
This would come under extreme driving conditions. switch to L or 2 on the auto selactor next time. Do an ATF change for safety if you haven't done so , before the thing gives you headaches.

Engine Oil Level Reduces And White Smoke After Overhaul
Twin Turbo replied to buddhi's question in Mechanical problems
Did you do a speed test just on your wsay home from the reparer?? did you seaon the engine? what oil is in the engine now? Your list of parts dosn't include a timing chain - just an observation,, not related to your oil burning. -

Suzuki swift HT51S overheating issue
Twin Turbo replied to mjayanath's question in Mechanical problems
Good thing you noticed the slight over heating The T.valve may have been removed to 'fix' an over heating issue by a previous owner. try checking the car with the engine nd a/c on to see weather the cooling fan properly works? and clean the coolingg fan fins from any dust/debree blockingg it. (air goingthrough the rad ) 0 -
Will the engine rev above that without a load? parked in neutral. The previous owner may have ha a good reason to go to smaller injectors, maybe wanted to save fuel? any idea of your current fuel consumption?
