  1. FINALLY! White cars are awesome!
  2. Looks like you're having fun! If Dehiwala is close by to where you live, I'll introduce you to my mechanic (if you like, that is!)
  3. That's good. Just shout out if you require any help!
  4. Can't wait for this restoration to start! Were any original bits (steering wheel, etc) included?
  5. LOL like the 'carbulator'...
  6. You're awesome! Post those photos quick!
  7. You're killing me with the suspense!! Post those photos before I keel over!
  8. Wow, congratulations! Riced or not, a Capri is a Capri!
  9. KILL IT WITH FIRE! :speechless-smiley-003:
  10. Speaking of Capris, I saw a beautiful Mk3 (13sri) yesterday. Gorgeous!
  11. Looks good and love that manual transmission. Is it a five speed or six speed?
  12. That pales in comparison to what my eyes had the displeasure of seeing today. There's a KE72 in deep red modded to look like a SUV complete with a spare wheel and jerry can on the tailgate! The front has a mod to make the lights look like a new Mustang. It's in Maharagama and I couldn't snap a photo because I was at the wheel.
  13. Everything's shaping up nicely! Now, who gets the first ride when the car hits the road?
  14. Super stuff, Davy!
  15. Komi, eya ahak gahanawa!
  16. Lovely car that! I saw it last evening while going to Kotte and looked alright. Now why didn't this show up a couple of weeks back when a friend of mine was looking for a car? He ended up buying an average condition KE72V! (guess who accompanied him to visit the cars! *hint* *hint*!)
  17. ...and the colours are wrong. (blue/red as opposed to Italian colours!)
  18. More like leather seats and an airbag to me. Ouch!
  19. Yup, saw the goof too!
  20. Wow, that Corolla looks mean! Local? And now, some snaps of early Lancers!
  21. You'll have to check if the A72 can accept a rear axle from another Mitsubishi with rear disks. I'm not knowledgeable on these conversions, but from my research on vintage Corollas, it can be done. (most KE70s and KE20s that have been modded for track use have AE86 axles with rear disc brakes). Before considering a rear-disk conversion, have you tried the usual quality brake pad replacements, service of the calipers, booster etc? From what I've read, 80% of the stopping power is generated from the front disks so good front disks will give you the stopping power you need.
  22. New, from the folks at Range Rover and George Lucas Studios (Star Wars), The Range Rover "Evok"!

  23. "Faster than ever"! You better believe it!
