    Toyota Corolla 2014

Get them down from Thailand…., tell them it is from Japan…. Very cunning
  2. Worked fine offline on my Nexus 10. From Hokandara to Darley Road voice assist was accurate. Purposely took couple of de tours, app was able to rework the route without much hassle (all these happened offline) Can’t complain much for a free app
  3. Some years back i found Fiamm air horn from a shop in Darly road. Sound fantastic not so loud
  4. One must understand that the highest cost of having a car in most parts of the world is depreciation. I think this fact is now relevant in SL context as well, gone are the days that you could buy a Axio or Allion use it for 3 years and sell at a profit. The only reason I’m not looking at a hybrid is the fear of loosing more in the used market and I don’t do enough running to save a on fuel to compensate. If one is doing 1500-2000 km monthly I guess you could save enough for a probable replacement battery or to compensate for lower resale value. Actually due to the duty difference between the hybrids and non hybrids, hybrids make lot of sense. If I had the money I would be definitely looking at a S400 hybrid which will cost much less than the lower spec S350
  5. If done properly with correct parts this should not be a problem. Manufactures sell cars with different ride heights depending on the market. For instance Toyota Corolla 141 would have 155 – 175 mm ground clearance depending on the market. Ground clearance of the Suzuki Swift JDM and Indian model is different. Of cause there will be a trade-off handling and may be on the ride quality. Even the former BMW 3 series (E90) had a high ground package for SL. If the low right height is something that you can’t live with better you look at this option or go for another vehicle. Most of the cars imported brand new to SL has ground clearance. Compromising in extreme handling is better than damaging your under carriage.

    New Tyres

Since size diffrence is marginal i guess it will not matter. I would recommend that you keep the half worn tyres in front as it will give much safer handling in a front drive car. Also they will wear out fast so that you could replace them identical ones.
  7. Best would be to change the suspension to high ground clearance setup. Set up from Yaris hatch back might be compatible.
  8. These economy tyres have less rolling resistance and have a result you might get less grip and braking distance also might increase specially in wet conditions. And also claimed fuel economy has been questioned; you could get more mpg by slight change in driving style. These facts have been proved by independent tests. However in local driving conditions it might not matter that much if you are not doing highway / fast driving. The tyre mentioned is a good brand and I thing you have got a good price for the size.
  9. Be careful when buying from non reputed companies they sometimes bring down refurbished and sell them. Sinnce there is no duty on camersa now agent prices are reasonable. My advice would be to go for a slightly older model which would be in discount it migh most probably have better lense, higher optical zoom and most important optical image stabilisation. Since you are taking pictures of children look for higher forcusing speed and startup time, you dont want to miss the photo oppertunity.
  10. Why don’t you look at the option of only importing the parts you need from uk cost might be significantly less and you might be able to clear the goods without much hassle. My personal experience is custom officers are generally lenient if your case is genuine. I have a friend who gets parts down for his Mondeo and Defender without much issues.
  11. Idiot politicas and morons who elected them
  12. There were componet JBL's on sale for around 13k which comes with woofer / midarange an tweeter seperate and i think there is provision for 6x9 in the rear parcel shelf in the EK3
  13. I used Brazo it worked on my wife's March K11
  14. Better do a service @ 1000 km and then stick to the routine (normally every 6 months or 5000 km) of Japanese petrol vehicles
  15. Actually this make sense, I have been practicing this for the last so many years as morons in my office issued me only on pass for two vehicles. (they must be thinking that I might turn up at office driving both vehicles)
  16. Few GT's and few 2.0 Lt GTS's
  17. To my knowledge following could be used to verify the mileage of a second hand car. Last emission test Service records agents/ some companies print the mileage in the receipts (always better to verify this with the agent/ service station) Best would be to check the ECU mileage using diagnostic tools (I was told that this could not be tampered with) If prospective buyers get educated we could at least reduce this menace.
  18. Whether anyone want to believe no not is not my issue. My friend who sold the vehicle has given all the service records to the buyer and do not have anything in his possession to prove it and as he is not the owner anymore he and doesn’t care. My motive of brining this into light is in the interest of any innocent party who might believe this false claim and think that he is buying a low mileage car. Anyway for what it is worth the car was very well looked after by my friend and despite having over 175k on the clock it was in very good nick.
  19. It was not sold on open papers so the claim in the ad is false. I dont think he has any documents to back it. The guy used the car for daily travel for the last 10 years.
  20. Buyers be aware this car is clocked http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=000133305 this car was previously owned by a close friend of mine who was the second owner and has 175,000 km in the meter when he departed with the vehicle.
  21. Why don’t you try one of those places where they do upgrades you might be able to get a good used one.
  22. Look at H** A* Sunday there are plenty advertised
  23. Quality and the material are identical (at least in the Honda CRV) I have compared this side to side with the JDM. However the specs are different lot has been compromised in the safety area (no side air bags, traction and stability control). And also no fancy features like auto head lights / wipers , key less operation (push start), cruise control, navigation. But you get 4WD and leather electric seats. So I guess it is a matter of getting a car at a price affordable and preferences of a particular market.
  24. Not true CS2 1.5L with CVT was offered brand new from U**Mo around 2003-5. This was due to stupid tax structure which taxed cars above 1500 cc at a higher rate. But I do not know whether the engine was GDI or not.
  25. You could try G* M****s for spares they are reliable and prices are ok
