  1. Exactly. I know a few people who have bought 3D TVs and they very rarely use the function. In addition, not all 3D glasses can accommodate spectacle wearers (like me), so you're of the 4 eyed variety, better check compatibility with all your frames before hand.
  2. Wtf are you talking about? That's not a brochure, it's the user manual I got with car, and it's printed in Thailand. There are no Japanese manuals for the Vios because it was never sold in Japan. Get your facts in order, else you'll only be spewing out useless disinformation.
  3. Unless you're a videophile, they will all look the same. Having said that, my company uses Atom TVs and they don't seem better or worse than any other LCD TV. And before you say "but these are LED TVs", the LED reference is to the backlight, as opposed to a regular cold fluorescent backlight (CFL); it still uses LCD technology to create a picture.
  4. yes i know. i was playing along. spoilsport
  5. Didn't realize Christina Aquilera had a face until now. She's pretty cute in Burlesque.

I didn't bother looking at her at all, to be honest. Her style of music has never interested me, I'm more of an electronica/classic metal fan.

  6. Dear Mandy (may I call you Mandy?) Let's get together tonight at Silk and further discuss your automotive crisis in private. Drop me a PM with your phone number.
  7. I think you missed the sarcastic ironical mockery of the post completely
  8. Sounds like something my boss would say during my my appraisal. Edit: But srsly, if you believe the quality of the forum has gone down, it's only because of the quality of the questions being asked. I mean srsly, every week there's a joker asking the the fuel consumption of one make of car or another. If they spend an additional 5 minutes using the search function, they'd find that the topic has already been discussed in depth, at length ad nauseum. Then there's people who, after any tax increase/reduction on vehicle prices, will ask how much their car is worth. And how can we forget "im looking for a car between %rupees1 and %rupees2 and has to have char attribute[ ] = {infinity}". Before I embark on a rant, I will simply say this; the quality of the forum has not gone down at all. Properly articulated, legit questions still do get answered by the experts, all you have to do is read the recent topics. The problem is that the useless posts obfuscate things and gives a false impression of the forum.
  9. Actually the Century is produced in very low numbers mostly for Japanese state officials. The example shown above is the version built for the Japanese Royal family. Sourcing a used a Century is extremely difficult, only surpassed by the Megacruiser.
  10. The last of the true "drive by the seat of your pants" cars. Edit: It's also a Fiat.
  11. Is it like the one Sam and Dean drive in Supernatural?
  12. Sirawata machan, ask Chinthana uncle if he can make that happen. I will gladly wear an "idiot" sign in exchange for a tax free diesel c class.
  13. Ane pako, your beloved GOSL is wreaking havoc with the quality of my life and you're talking about Sri Lankans' need for discipline? Kindly take YOUR rubbish elsewhere.

  15. Did you watch the debate last night? Bloody hell, the way the guy spoke you'd think his anus was on his face :/
  16. To reiterate myself, the body kit can be removed from the bumpers. Then the car will look like a regular Vios without the body kit. All five pieces (side skirting, rear bumper flares and front lip) are removable. I've had the skirting removed at the garage to examine the rocker panels for damage/corrosion.
  17. I'd buy a Prius in a heart beat if I had the money. Only because it takes me 1 hour to drive 14kms, and I could save a buttload of cash on fueling my car. Edit: I'd also fit it with a Star Wars sound effect generator hooked up to the e-throttle.
  18. The body kit is easily removed, they are all fixed with size 10/12 bolts. It cost me 11k to put seat covers in my car. No idea where the material comes from but its effective plus the colour matches the exterior. Wood effect parts are mostly on the early 2003 models, but I believe you can buy them here, as a friend of mine is considering replacing the silver effect trim as well.
  19. Game of Thrones and cars. win. (don't forget to download subscribe to HBO and watch S02E01) http://jalopnik.com/5896787/the-cars-that-should-be-in-game-of-thrones/gallery/1
  20. Just finished watching the Alcatraz season finale. Did anyone else (who watches the show) notice that it's a remake of the Bullitt car chase, complete with a green beetle??

  21. It appears so. I supposed its because the 1NZ-FE doesn't need to be broken in, you just start using it from day 1
  22. Check the bushes on the front lower arms.
  23. It's my Vios' user manual. I got it when I bought the car. I also got the warranty booklet as well as the radio manual.
  24. Spartacus B&S made all my Lucy Lawless fantasies come true. I just wish it didn't take 15 years for it to happen :/
