  1. Nope. Will check. Thanks
  2. Yeah machan, that's the thing, trying to get it from here! 3M seam sealer would do the trick. Worst case, will get it from eBay. Anyway don't our body shop guys ever use sealant when putting panels back together?
  3. Hi guys, I recently removed my front wing to fix a dent. To remove the wing from the body I had to pry some form of seam sealant which was applied between the wing and the body. My question is from where I can find seam sealant in Sri Lanka? Any good brands? I read that Poly Urethane (PU) sealant is also acceptable, but it is stronger and is harder to remove than seam sealant. Thanks
  4. Congrats! Hope to see some pics. The 3 & 6 are lovely cars.

  6. Check your break disks. They could be warped (deformed).
  7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rear-view_mirror#Anti-glare Thats why we have anti-glare mirrors. Ever wondered what that little lever in the middle of the rear view mirror does?
  8. Congrats. Post some pictures
  9. Hi guys, Just found a huge grease on my light coloured headliner! It's been a few days since it happened. Any ideas on how to remove it? Will try out with surgical spirit over the weekend. Thanks.
  10. I always was under the impression that this particular car was a E9 coupe, with the batmobile kit. Didn't know it was a full blown CSL! Anyway here's mine.
  11. Check this out, courtesy the Toyota Aqua Club of Sri Lanka! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1013013598727260&type=1 Apparently an Aqua has turned turtle during an evasive manoeuvre at 30kmph! Is that even possible? While I feel bad for the owner, I'm just curious, can a car turn turtle at such low speeds? Aren't Japs designed with such scenarios in mind? I know most Euros conform to the moose test. But turning turtle at 30kmph? Also below is the reason given by the owner. Any thoughts? "...the tare weight is 1050 kg and with four passengers... Atleast it adds up another 250 Kg...so it was about 1.3 Tons of weight.. And the lifting force came with centripetal force and from the springs... Since the car is very low and all weights are close to bottom... Center of gravity is very low..." In other news watch out for the Toyota Aqua Parade happening on the 1st of March

  13. I think I can learn from your experience! DIY, unfortunately is not my forte. More than anything, i'm too scared to do something on my own!
  14. I've had my 155 for quite a while now, and I have to say, your posts on your 164 made the decision all the more easier when I was looking to buy one back then!
  15. Coincidentally I have the same too! Is yours a 8 or 16V?
  16. Whats the Alfa model if I may ask?
  17. I brought down my TV (LG) from Canada a while back. At the time did not have the tax restriction. Also I thought the tax applies to TV's 42" and above. I may be wrong. Anyway as for the voltage converter, you won't probably need one as most electronic items have dual voltage. My TV works from 110-240V. And you will face the NTSC issue if you try to watch local TV from the antenna. I use Dialog TV with no issue.

  19. Congrats! The Mazda 6 is a excellent car. And yes photos please!
  20. @sathyajith88. Just curious. Where do you think Alfa Romeo ranks in your list?
  21. I agree with Ricer. I have seen a couple of R34 sedans for sale in the 2.3mil and 2.6mil range some time back in the classifieds.
  22. If you are referring to the BMW X1: There are plenty Xdrive is the AWD version of the X1. I vaguely remember seeing a Xdrive badge on a X1 or X3. Sorry not sure.
  23. Any place I can rent some bicycles for a few hours in Galle? Thanks :)

Not sure in Galle, but I've seen places in Hikkaduwa definitely. Maybe around the Galle Fort area?

Have you tried the Rest House?

  24. I'm assuming here, that the OP wants a sporty "looking" car rather than a "sports car". Unfortunately there arent many cars to choose from. You can also consider a Volvo C70. But i'm not sure how much it costs. Mitsubishi FTO, there was one for sale sometime back for 1.8mil. Now that's a proper sports car IMO, whereas the Hyundai Tuscani is not. There also was a E36 coupe for sale on Autolanka for 1.8/1.9 mil a little while ago. I thought that was quite reasonably priced.
