Members, Very true of living in other countries other than a persons mother land had been well documented in earlier few posts. I first traveled to the west in late 1958. The country most Sri Lankans wanted to get a education. As well as a qualification to be a carrier in their life. Later due to some family requirement I was compelled to be back in Ceylon. I was the only male in my family. My late father who had build up a Business in Industry I had to help him due to is illness. I carried on that technical maintenance business till late 1980. I was compelled to do even today I do few related maintance of the same industry for few of my old Customers where I had done early modifications to their machines. I attend few of those customers who became life long friends due to my knowledge I gained for many decades, specially attending to their technical problems in their industry to operate smoothly. Later I switched on to completely different Automobile after market maintenance service, which no one wanted to establish due to the demand for the Automobile service was not heard in our country. I took a bold challenge in establishing same. Even today I do with two workers very successfully. I am in my late seventy 77+. Today little feeble physically, not in my knowledge. Fortunately I have two workers talented carrying on my Automobile service which I establish in 1992 till today very successfully. I visited Japan for the first time in 1970 to Japan Osaka to Expo70. Which was the first Japanese exhibition after 1st World War. That Expo70 was a eye opening to entire world to prove how capable and efficient to raise their heads from Ashes. After that I was offered a training in Japan for a Machine in late 1970, which is necessary to uplift one of our agricultural exports to world. Later my excess to Japan was very easy I became a Automobile importer till late 1980. I have traveled almost 70% of Japanese city's for business to related imports of automobiles. When I first visited Japan the US Dollar was Lankan Rupees was 7/50 or 8/00. I do not want to mention any more connections I still have in Japan. I may have mentioned for last 10 years about my life into this forum. I was not aware of this forum, one member told me to log in to Auto Lanka Forum explain what service I do in 2010 so that members will know about my service. That will help members to get my service. Which I still do, had many members criticizing my service. I am not worried will cray on till I die. I want to mention one thing , I would have settled in a developed country. I never liked the foreign living had very little inherited wealth also from my wife's side. Therefore we have only one child, what is the point leaving this motherland? when I am happy with the Sri Lankan way of living even with a (AMUDAY) can walk on your lands what you have with out harming to our country men. Readers will say I am blowing my own Trumpet. When I read few posts originating due to my post. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.

iRage, You say I post (general ramblings and rants) may be how you think of that post of mine. Member please understand I post my past experiences and the true history happened 50 years ago. Even today our responsible people who get to top posts in the country what they want is to get a quick Rupees and Cents. I do not know when this will end in our country. "third class" citizens have access to better social security, healthcare and education in first class countries? There you are correct once you become a Citizen of a country you migrate will have the said benefits. To get all said benefits a person will have to have sufficient amount of funds to satisfy the authorities in a migrant country. Also like to mention I am not a ranter. I remain. Kavvz and GK_007, I really appreciate both members comments. Thank you two of you'll for the posts. What I wrote on the tread which is allowed by the moderators. Is true what happened during year 1970. Members please read on my thread which administrators had allowed me to write my long explanations to a subject. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi
  4. Under is not related to Automobiles. What happened to a Government servant and a Entrepreneur fifty years ago. I had Customer who got my services who was a Brilliant Engineer who had headed last five years of his Government service life in a (1940 to 1960) Government Department. He left the Government Department and started a very well organized Earth moving business with all new machines. I cannot estimate the cost of his entire set up then. He had started in 1962 and after working in then Ceylon South Galoya tank hydro distribution canals, from Embilipitiya up to Hungama across the country. I was involved in maintenance of those machinery from 1966 Electrical systems only. Used to travel with him at least once a month to the his operational sites until he closed the business. I really enjoyed those trips with money coming in for the services I rendered, to his owned faulty Electrical units of his heavy earth moving machinery. During those days there were only handful of private operators who were in the Earth moving business. Agents of those Machinery had used all stocks of spares in few years of import restrictions. As I was already in heavy earth moving machinery Electrical repairs. Agents of some machines I was handling to their satisfaction. When they ran short of spares the agents themselves recommended myself to him and few others in the earth moving private sector. Then the South was not developed like today, Embiliyapitiya was a very small town with few shops and few hotels on the road side. Our turn off was from that town, Said Engineers Earth Moving set up did very good work. He had two Surveys and Engineering assistant working permanently on those sites, to get all required accurate Measurements for billing. The end of the every month. One 4 wheel drive Vehicle surplus from 2nd world war and two motor cycles were for sites utility use. He started during the dark era there were no imports to the country, with a different Governing party. They wanted him to do this, due to nonavailability of any people to come forward to undertake a such complex project. Then governing party who was in power, implemented import restrictions, like for motor vehicles today. The land development projects went on with difficulties, not having spares for the heavy machinery used for earth moving. There was no raw materials for correct rebuilding of wasted parts. At that time the need of spares for automobiles as well as all other industries also in short supply, every body suffered lot. There after opposition party came in in 1965. they also ended up in 1970. Change of government in 1970 one of the newly appointed Government member was not in favor of his business, because he did not give any contribution to his Election fund . Due to his honesty including not looking after the member (OILING) and relevant officers who was responsible for work completed certified by government authorities, bill payments relevant to the completed work successfully. His payments were delayed New government member in the earth work operational area was not in favor to get the administrative staff for expediting required papers to be submitted to authorities in Colombo for final payments. That was purely due to no share was coming to the member of the area. Not only that administrative staff also wanted a share, he decided to close up every thing and leave the country, which he did. After meeting the relevant top government leaders explaining his displeasure of treatment he received from said people. His only daughter was married to a well known Cricketer and was living in UK. Son was in Australia studding Engineering mostly related to Road transport heavy vehicles, including earth moving Machinery maintenance That was the time Australia developed Some earth moving machines operating in completely Electrical controlled. Which was not like Hydraulically controlled systems. Later We had few of those earth moving machines in Mahawalliy development project in Kandy, there was an a Australian technically qualified officer working in that area. I had the opportunity of repairing one of them due to a Electrical failure of one Bucket Scraper machine. He worked out his decision to leave the country, handing over all his machines to the Government, Valuation was done his Income taxes were pending and he was able to settle all with the Inland Revenue Department. He also paid his entire staff full salary for two years because the closer of his Business. There was no problem with Labour department. Government at that time required if a person is leaving the country not to come back, one condition was only after income Tax clearance with an a Exit permit. Other than the inventory involved in his Earth moving, what he had his personal lands were sold and he presented all of his Electrical testing equipment to me. At last he cried embraced me and told me, All he did to the country as a single person heeding a department with his knowledge he had got from his studies in Ceylon and UK was able to work in a establishment which was originated by the Colonial regime in Ceylon. Today the Politicians and the public servants who do not understand how to develop this country with all the resources what we have, for future generations to come. All our people appointed members to govern the country and Government officers are interested in amassing wealth for their generations to come, not to develop our mother land. He is unable to predict how the present generation will do in few decades time. All children are born will be the free educated by then thanks to Mr. C.W.W.Kannangara. I decided to leave every thing in my mother land and to settle down in Australia. I will first go to UK first have good holiday with my daughter contact few old friends in there, for a month or so and leave directly to Australia to close my Eyes there as a third class migrant treated with few benefits. His last few words to me was still I remember. I am a first class Citizen in my mother land where I was born and served to my country, hole heartily, also after leaving the Government service, I thought to have a Earth moving set up, you are aware what good work I and my entire staff did. Few days time I will leave this Blessed country to be a Third class Citizen in a Developed country, which Colonial regime was responsible for AUSTRALIA developing to present state to be par with any western developed country. Forcibly deporting their unwanted Citizens, to settle down in Australia, where full of resources to develop like their United Kingdom. Which they did with the help of the original Citizens of that country. This post is purely to explain (50) years ago Ceylon and at present Sri Lanka (2021) there is no difference to compare, bribery and corruption are originated from the top to bottom of our country. If no Palm oil is passed to the hands of our Government officers as well as other Municipality officers cannot get any of our requirements done in double quick time. I remain for today. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.

PreseaLover, I reply after almost 18 days, this was due to some of my personal lea-gel matters propped up due to closer of businesses during the lock-down days. In the past Lessees of my buildings were requesting unreasonable reductions for the days closed. I had agreed and signed MOU till end of last year. As most business men do ill lea-gel account keeping for income tax purposes, which I cannot do all agreements are signed and copies have given to the government IT department for their references for my tax liabilities. At present income tax department function on a low key. My Lessees business will pick up after some time. This is the nature of some business men. I do not want to have any black marks in my dealings, never had to date. Will not do in future. I refer to your post on 12/30/2020, following are how I think. Periciles is correct some one will have to pay for the sins. If the person who do all unwanted things for his own worldly pleasures, then there are many ways they will suffer in their lifetime. Can be a incurable sickness which he embarrasses during those acts, loosing their inherited wealth and earned by himself. May get a crippled child. Jailed which will not end till he lives. are few thins I mentioned. Have seen on our own Eyes during the past do not want to relate all one by one. I have had ways in my early life to enjoy Wine and song, during late 1950 early 1960 days GFH Mount Lavina hotel will have very cheap week end entertainment, also our great show personalty late Mr Donovan Andree had many places to have all utmost pleasures for young and old. I refer first is week end dancing that follows all rest which I do not want to write. Entrance fee was Rupees 5,00. All what I said above I had done to moderate way because I had to do my Technical business during my young days to keep my self going, without loosing the inherited wealth. I did little more than my late father. Unfortunately I have no Son to carry on my business. I think after me and my wife's death My only child with her family will get rid of all will leave the paradise Island to be third class migrants in a first class country. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  6. Kavvz, Sorry for belated reply. Because I did not log in to Auto LANKA forum for some time. Normally I invite few of my friends to X mas dinner, this time I had to inform them we will have a dinner when this Pandemic ease up. My daughter and Son-in law with their two kids went to his mothers house because his two family members who are residing in Island had come for Xmas lunch. I enjoyed with my staff members and my wife, Xmas lunch, normally we all enjoy Xmas dinner early years. We all go for Xmas mass in the night but this time it was not like early years. Have to adjust our life accordingly to the situation. Best wishes for you and your family, HEALTH WEALTH AND HAPPINESS. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  7. Merry Christmas greetings to all Auto Lanka members Sylvi Wijesinghe.
  8. Members, I use Courier services for my personal requirements. Some times they delay, Customs put the parcel on hold, if the declared value is above Rs. 25000/=. Have to give a letter to the Courier the parcel is for my personal use then they will examine the parcel and tax according to declared value. Delay can be avoided if you get the tracking number early and inform the Courier to arrange duty payment early, then they clear immediately paying the duty as the parcels come to the air port. I get my relative or a friend to export my requirements. Cost will be high, but it is hassle free. My business requirements are imported always through Courier services, All goods are coming from reputed exporters therefore no under invoice can be done. Have to pay correct duty. Later Money transferred bank will want duty paid documents for inland revenue requirements. All Courier services do delivery within 5 days of export. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  9. Members, I reply regarding the partly hidden picture on the post by Supra_Natural one of the Moderators, to me. If I remember this picture was taken by me few years back, and posted to A/L informing only remaining Tram car halting please name board, for the people to remember the Tram Cars existed and was in operation in Colombo. This Name Board was existing there till about 10 years back. Later this picture was removed by the person who build a building on that Boundary, where this was fixed to build his building. One of A/L member wrote regarding this post and he had met this person who removed the board, This person who was responsible for removing this historical Tram Ways halting place board had agreed to the said member, he will fix same board in a suitable place so that future generation can have a look on that. I do not see this said board any where to that building at present. Said member mentioned he is well known to the person who removed this board, if he can give A/L any information of that board, because this is a historical name board in Sri Lanka existed Tramways. Also has a Archeological value. This Tram ways name board is belongs to Sri Lankan People as a Archeological article which is more than 100 years old. Not belongs to the person who removed same. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  10. Honorable Supra_Natural, Contents noted, in future will do as your instructions. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  11. Honorable Supera Natural, First of all I thank you for all respects to me reply for my comments on that post, enlighten my way of thinking of 20 year old vehicle. Vehicles made after 1980 to present day vehicles will be in good condition if they are maintained well then will last for very long time, You inform to me, my reply is out dated and incorrect. TO ME ANY VEHICLE MADE AFTER 1980 OR ANY VEHICLE MADE IN 1940 WILL LAST IF SPARES ARE READILY AVAILABLE FOR REPLACEMENT WHEN IT IS NECESSARY. ALSO REPLACEMENT WILL HAVE TO BE DONE BY A EXPERIENCED PERSON. I wrote that post with good intentions not to discourage this member. If you read AL, we get members recommending good Mechanics who will do a honest repair, most of them do are changing new parts in the process some times, they change serviceable parts near by. Very few mechanics do repairs themselves or supervise personally. Can find many AL members complain about same, unwanted delays very high repair charges etc. We still do not have testing machines for some common parts we change shock absorbers, Clutch plate assembly's efficiency testing individually. Can test entire vehicle for shocks. Normally Clutch plate starts slipping most mechanics change complete set, Clutch plate with the pressure plate. Few years back When I joined this forum, I too had few bad comments in to this forum, regarding my charges, one member mentioning I wanted for a job which I do at present, Rupees 15,000/=. That member managed to do that (DIY) same thing with Braso for few rupees. I don't dispute that. DIY then I cannot understand for the reason he got a quotation from my self. If he is capable and had the technology. I am still in this Automobile service for last 28 years, done more than 20000, satisfactory repairs by my self. I had done all this in Sri Lanka from the time I started after qualifying in USA. I do this for not to make big money by exorbitant charges, to inform you I started life in Automobile industry which existed from 1931 in Colombo 00300, by my late father. In Sri Lanka I have handled Including most expensive Bullet Proof cars. Originally I did my self, at present I have two very well trained workers do work. I do work Only if an a customer is prepared to pay my charges. I will be 78 years in few days not much active at my old age due to few ailments most jobs are handled today by my workers under my personal guidance. I do not want to blow my trumpet. I can overhaul a Automobile engine Gear box ( NOT AUTO GEAR BOXES). Rear Transmission, Entire brake system, Suspension. Up to 1 Megawatt Generator Engines Alternator winding of same. AVR Cards, some AVR cards can be repaired others are filled with Epoxy difficult to remove and change Electronic components. Any type of metal fabrications like Elevators Electricity operated. Bread Flour mixing machines of large 100 Kgs capacity. All mentioned what I had made and maintained by my self. I may have deviated from the answer, most things on this post are not relevant to the topic, I cannot help I wrote facts what I think about used old vehicles. I may be wrong will never write about the above topic in future. My specialty is Magneto Armature Winding, today there may be few Mag Armature winders in Sri Lanka. Because Magnetos are not used in Automobiles Due to Electronics (ECU) had taken over the Ignition system. I know still Aircraft industry is using Magnetos. For entire life from about 13 years or early I lived with Automobiles. and heavy engineering units. Because for the simple reason my place where I live today my late father had a work shop, in 40 perches land, Today I have only 21 perches. He had skilled workers. He did repairs of all types of Automobiles as well as Electrical power Generators, I do not want to write much about past, but with my knowledge I can say today's vehicles are not the vehicles like forty or fifty years ago. The era I grew up we used to cut chop modify and get them to last few more years. till we get the original replacement. At present many new replacements are available for a damaged or not serviceable parts for modern Automobiles. To day no mechanic will not want to repair a part by filling and machining to be serviceable for many more years of good use. In the dark era (1962 to 1977)many reconditioning establishments for automobile parts opened up to serve the automobile industry, to get wasted parts by reconditioning. I do not want to mention their names some are still existing due to our grown up automobile industry. After 1977. Engine head gasket industry there were many New gasket makers in Colombo town. today only one person is in that industry. Rubber bushes and other necessary rubber components manufactures were in big way. Also Automobile side and rear lamp plastic covers industry was existing in that era. Gear wheel rebuilding one famous work shop was their few miles away from Colombo on High level road. Today I was told that business is not there. I do not know that is correct or not. I have met that proprietors son several times in Japan during my visits. I too switched on to another Automobile aftermarket service industry because the ending of dark era Sri lanka started importing all necessary spare parts for Automobiles, I had three Armature winders only winding one type of Armatures. I too did myself Armature winding, as well as Magneto Armatures, my last winding of a BTH Magneto armature about 8 years ago, for a old fire service water pump two cylinder Gasoline engine. I had to change the Carburetor of that engine to a SU. There was a Carburetor specialist in Ingrukade junction. AL there was few members wrote. posts about the work shop still old proprietor's son is existing. For my knowledge only one person who followed his fathers foot steps are still in Automobile engine tuning. Honorable supper natural one of the respected moderator's, I have answered with best of my knowledge to the forum for your comments. Have mentioned many things about Automobile industry history in Sri lanka of what I know. I remain. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  12. Tharaka Samarasena, You want a car for 1.6M, the car will not be a very good road runner. If you are a new Automobile user. Because when the new or used vehicles are exported from a original country they are not made to lat that much of time. Think before you buy a vehicle because of that era vehicles minimum mileage will be more than 400,000 Kilometers. Do not know how many mechanics would have handled them, spares also will be a problem. A vehicle of that era You may have to spend more time in repair shops and money. Therefore It is better you go for a newer vehicle under 10 years. Which will be expensive. Sylvester Wijesinghe. Sylvi.
  13. PreseaLover As you say to consume food like me. Another thing I forgot to write was about Black Crabs in Puttalam. I did plenty of maintaining Earth moving Machinery Electrical units in Puttalam during 1960. Then Government was opening up the Railway line to Aruwakkaru up to Puttalalm Palavi Cement Corporation site, the Clinker site was about 17 miles away from P Town. About Crabs, large black Crab was costing maximum 2/= Rupees, mixed small medium and few large about 50 Black Crabs can buy for 20/= Rupees all of them was live. Large Hurrulla fish was 10 Cents each, Very rarely small fish was sold for weight. Small fish was sold in lots. Only large fish was sold by weight Lbs. I cannot remember the costs of large fish because I am a Crab and Hurrulla fish fan. I used to buy in large quantity's on my way back for my relatives who live closely by. Today large live black Crab will be 1500/= Rupees in Colombo 03 at Sea view avenue fish shop. Used to travel 4 to 5 tines a month. Old Puttalam town was not developed like today. This was a Muslim dominated town all trades were Muslims, they were very helpful. Still whenever I go I meet them, some are dead. Third generation is living there with all new buildings some are deviated from their traditional Dry fish business having very big buildings with all modern luxury goods for sale. There was only one Liquor shop and Toddy tavern there at that time Rest house was the only place to have a good meal. Plenty of home made distilled Liquor was there cost was 5/= Rupees a bottle. If order is given early can get made from pure Toddy cost varies. Still there are few descendants of old generation is there, only two wholesale shops do retail dry fish business there. I have one shop I buy from the original owners great grand son. When I fist visited there, owners age was about late 70. His son was also was there, later son took over today the third generation is doing same old dry fish business. I remain for today. Sylvester Wijesinghe. Sylvi.
  14. Kavvz, Dear member do not eat too many fatty foods can get all common BP,BG. Have to test lipid profile every 6 months. If you are old more than 40 years. If not most common ailments will have to embrace. By middle age also try to keep your body weight to recommended weight. Eating Buriyani Gee rice Poke are like Poison to your health. In my young days every Sunday I ate Gee Rice with all fatty Poke. Five times Beef for all entire week days very little fish. I did plenty of electrical maintenance on large fishing trawlers, used to get fish roe and all edible other fish parts, from them. Even today I go to Beruwala to get all those and specially Jadi. Cannot get Jadi in Colombo I have few owners of fishing Trawlers who have contacts to people who make Jadi. They supply me at present. Best is Thora, Balaya, kelawalla, Kumbalava and big Salaya. At present Jadi dealers have Dolphin fish Jadi that I do not like. I have given very little of my living style in my past. At present I refrain from most of my bad habits, due to my old age and few ailments I have. I did all that without any harm to other's. I remain for today. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  15. Members, 1 Day late reply I did make the Chicken with Stout was not that good like Pork or Beef, then I left the rest in Refrigerator last morning used the oven low temperature and roasted mixing Butter Onions more Salt and Lime Tomato sauce for my palate, the Chicken was really nice crispy with Stout taste coming on the back. Yesterday Jaela was open but no Toddy. Managed to get Pork and Beef. Can enjoy the Stout with Stout. Jungle stuff was available, did not buy do not know how old was same. Can end up in hospital if you eat old stuff, one driver of mine I had to enter him to hospital for food poisoning Few years ago when I had my holiday home for more than 30 years. At present I use my Jaela home for night outing, but not like out of Colombo having a river bath enjoying fresh Toddy Visiting village Fair. I sold that little land due to my old age traveling, Invested the returns on Colombo Buildings. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  16. Kavvz, I have never tried Dark Stout for beef or Pork, have used Beer to both (B&P) they come very good. I am going to try for Chicken boil in Stout as unable to get Beef or Poke at this time 6.50 PM. Will give the result early. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  17. Members, When the word Toddy came up on AL I write my love for that, When I had my land in Mundal I had few trees taping Toddy, Conditions was Toddy tapper has to give full two bottles as the tree owners share. When ever I go there I really enjoy the drink. At present the Toddy is available in Colombo as well as out of Colombo they are mostly artificially made Toddy. Most people cannot find the difference, only next day person who consumes about one bottle will have a good loose motion next day. Original Coconut toddy will never give that problem. Every time I go to Jaela I buy few bottles specially to prepare PORK CURRY. Have to boil entire 1 kilo or more in slow fire with all necessary spices for three hours. Till Toddy becomes a thick gravy then leave same for few hours to settle down Slice to required slices if wants to have later can use the Deep Freezer for later consumption. Roast the slices till well done. I still prepare this once a week consume very little due to my old age during good old days use to have at lest 300 Grams for a meal. Now suffering with Cholesterol problem for what I ate in my early life. Ros-ted Poke Taste becomes like little sweet but I like that. I hope members will understand me because this is a Automobile forum. I have written about cooking PORK curry of my way. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  18. Lescy, As the above post member Dee Jay mentioned the problem will be on the auto gear box, first thing if you like change change (ATF) Gear box oil, that will some times correct the problem what you have. Next is change with a used gear box, this will cost lot cannot inform the cost, still you will be getting a unknown used unit cannot say the condition of that also. There are no reconditioned gear boxes in Sri Lanka. All what is with the used car parts dealers are removed from used vehicles, cannot say how many miles that gear box vehicle has done before that was removed. Next is go to a good recommended auto gear box repairer who will do a satisfactory repair by changing parts from a another used auto gear box what they have. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  19. VVTI, Regret for my belated reply. I log into A/L but did not see your post to A/L. Many thanks for my reference to to a Audi owner. I wish your Father to live more than 100 years. I am OK but not driving cannot do a long walk now 77years 10 months 12 days. Some times use a walking stick, all ways I have a helper with me. Have to take many drugs to keep going. All common ailments (BP, BG, Cholesterol ) are there Any how I am happy at this age. All eating habits have changed, to morning breakfast to only 4 slices of sliced bread with gravy + Coconut sambol and few Sour Plantains. Lunch plenty of Vegetables 95% very little Rice 5% Sour Plantains little Ice-cream. Dinner only boiled Vegetables again Sour Plantains. I eat plenty of Plantains to keep my bowels moving without any strain twice a day. Drink plenty of Water minimum 2 Liters. No Sugar, Liquor, Smoking. My only sugar intake is Ice cream. Blood Sugar readings all ways below 100, Blood pressure readings are normal 140/75. Regular all necessary Blood tests are done every 3 months and consult mu regular Consultant. If I travel do not drink much water. I did a very big change in my life style after the Stroke. Left side of my brain I suddenly I developed a pain did not take any action for three days, Got in to a private hospital Doctors immediately did a CT. That indicated I have a block in the brain. Have had all fun during very early age till about 70. Liquor Drinking every day never Smoked in my life intake of food was very bad, that was the reason I was 320 Lbs at one time. Now also over weight with 90 Kilos. Down with one stroke without any of my limbs getting affected, Only I lost 50% of my right Eye vision. Both Eyes Cataract was performed. After that reading I have to use Glasses long distance vision is OK. Above is my full life history of from Age 18. Be care full after age of 40 if not have to spend plenty of money to Doctors and hospitals. I remain wishing you best of luck for future. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.
  20. Members, All are discussing about S/A. As far as I know we have only to check the entire vehicle shocks., no one has way to test single S/A in Sri Lanka. There are S/A testers. Long ago I posted about this. I do not know any one has a S/A tester. members can view this machine on you tube. Sylvester Wijesinghe Sylvi.

Best of luck all trouble you take to rebuild a vehicle. Very few will do today. Sylvester Wijesinge Sylvi.
