  1. But what do you think about reliability between the two? I think maruti will win? Is it not? No experience with Panda. But loved how simple was the Maruti.
  2. You can try the free one also.. https://dvlottery.state.gov/
  3. I checked at halogen options too. When I search more on the Phillips I found that more the light out put you get, lesser the lifespan. Anyways since this thread is for LED headlights don't want to divert the topic.
  4. All seem to be having 6000K or closer to 6000K color temperature. How good are LEDs with 6000K in wet weather? I'm asking because I wasn't happy with 6000K HIDs in wet weather. I almost felt like driving without lights.
  5. Sharing my light bar project; I installed this Auxbeam 32 inch light bar behind the grid to look discrete. At first I was bit hesitant to remove the front bumper but YouTube had all the instructions how to remove. For sure it blocks some of the light from the grill but I like the discrete look. Also I don’t think I could expect more light on these comparatively cheap light bars vs those crazy expensive light bars.
  6. Here is a sample video of mine. I reduce the resolution to 1080p as I use Windows Movie Maker to trim and fast forward the video to reduce playback time and it doesn't publish more than 1080p.
  7. Selfdriving Prius? (Modified of cause). I guess it will take a long time this to happen in our country as far more intelligence needed with our traffic.
  8. ????Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all..????
  9. While I was looking to buy portable jump starters mainly I found 2 type of chargers (There could be more I just did some limited search). One type has capacitors that can use existing charge left on the car battery and gives a boost to start. This one was bit expensive. There was another type that the portable charger has a battery where we need to keep it charged and that battery can give boost to start the car battery. They were cheaper than the capacitor type portable chargers. So personally I use these 2 portable jump starters. (links are only for reference, they were not the exact sellers I bought from) AUKEY 18000mAh Jump Starter with 600A Peak DBPOWER 1200A Peak Portable Car Jump Starter Here is an example using the "Aukey Jump starter" (Only to show that it works, this video was unplanned and i'm not a professional product reviewer) -
  10. Buying HIDs and LEDs are not easy as buying regular Halogens. See below email where I ordered set of LEDs and they replied saying that it’s no more compatible. If you just buy LED or HID based on bulb base you might be in a risk where it might not focus perfectly as halogens and it might scatter the light to oncoming traffic.
  11. This is the dashcam I use on my car and so far no issues. I think this is somewhat mid level dashcam and it is more than enough for my requirement.
  12. Yes, If you are not hard wiring from the fuse box and just using the cigarette lighter it’s very easy. Many dash cam chargers come with 2 usb charging ports, 1 for the dash cam and the other to charge your phone or other device. You can even install without tools using your nails and maybe a credit card like thing near the A pillar around the airbag. Try to buy a smaller dash cam with a good microsd card so it’s more discrete. Min my opinion it’s not worth to spend money for dash cam installation.
  13. Congratz JC.. That looks fun..!!
  14. Mate, it would really be helpful if you just give the facts rather than complaining about "thel hingannas toyota".. Would be helpful to say to drive legally fast as possible while keeping low revs and do smooth acceleration. Don't keep your anger on someone or group bcos it will make your whole day unhappy. Just ignore and move on..?? Cheers..
  15. Here are some of my experience on this; For sure I too don’t want to promote one particular brand, however with my experience I love the Subaru symmetrical AWD system on snow vs Toyota AWD system. I experienced quite some over steer on regular driving on snow with RAV4 AWD system vs my friends Subaru Outback while testing on the same day same road on a snowy day. Wish I recorded a video that day to share. About 2013 Mazda 3 FWD it was cutting power pretty early to avoid slipping I guess. With 2015 Camry FWD my friend experienced some what toque steer ( he got bit scared) while trying to pull in to my house driveway on a snowy day. It’s an assumption that it’s torque steer as the driveway had equal amount of snow so same traction on both L & R wheels.

  17. If you ever thought installing dash cam is hard, here’s a quick video where I installed one during lunch break; https://youtu.be/57b-snK127w Just thought of sharing if this helps anyone..
  18. Looks like Automakers are trying to use Gorolla Glass for windshield. In my opinion this is a great trend as for safety. Personally I have faced an incident where a rock shattered my windshield and I think the 3M tint on my windshield protect from a mess having glass pieces all over as both sides of the windshield shattered. So no additional cleaning was needed. Link - https://www.mopar.com/en-us/store/parts/gorilla-glass.html
  19. Please tell me this is photoshop.. How could someone do this to a LC79.. This is more hideous than that guy opened a 4 yr old thread.
  20. I didn't know that Mazda 3 has AWD option till today.
  21. Not sure how much of these are practical to our country but pretty interesting to watch and may be learn something. I would definitely check on that ‘kill switch’. https://youtu.be/j6Wntha7ft8

  23. You can do a search on the forum to find many thread on this. Below are some threads might help you;
  24. I think I have said this in other window tint threads as well. If anyone is worried about getting copped, you can try 3M Crystalline tint. The estimate depends on car to car. I did it at Tint city in Maradana. I would recommend CR90 for front windshield and CR70 for all other glasses. But keep in mind that cannot stop all the heat from the sun as they demonstrate from a lamp they have. Its just a marketing thing. However it definitely reduce the heat. Make sure you ask them to erase the 3M logo from the tint. They will default erase the logo from the windshield tint. You have to ask them to erase from other glasses. CR70 is not dark it looks like factory shaded glass. CR90 doesn't look like tint at all. Its good for windshield but not enough for other glasses in my opinion.
